So you hope they get eaten by bears and call them evil? Irony much. So what do you want them to do interfere with nature, because you don't like the bear doing what it naturally has done for 10s of millions of years to survive? Give me a break..
he didn't realize it but the bear had the advantage and had a good opportunity in the water that he let get away. he also was trying to figure out if the golfers were on the menu 😂
That bear is about 3 years old. It's young, but not that young. Bears are good swimmers, but if attacked in the water they are close to powerless. This bear was certainly taking into consideration the possibility that the deer may charge.
Yeah no shit right. Like he thought he had an advantage in the water or something. What ppl don't realize though , a buck is alot more aggressive than ppl would think. Plus having those horns on my head , it would give me a little more confidence to , but against a bear , no don't see that happening lmao 😆
🤣 This is great! Superb footage and I loved the commentary by the guys. 👍 Very droll and I dig the “Whull, hell, we can blend golf *and* a bit of NatGeo-level camera work, too” attitude. The bear was definitely a youngster, so still in the “learning mode” when it came to water-kills. An adult black bear would have taken the (possibly injured) young buck down easily, on land or in the pond. Anyhow, I hope these guys encountered Sasquatch at the next hole. C’mon, guys. Where’s that footage?
Very interesting black bear behavior, good footage. Most black bears are very laid back and just like to graze on grubs, shrubs, berries, fish, frogs but do not go for larger mammals. Grizzlies will, I agree with everyone else a younger bear practicing testing it's limits. A buck like this can readily outdo a little bear like this.
Bear has to eat 🐻, but not today, 😂 Both are Good Swimmers, 🌊 but for Moose, it's where most of their nutritional food comes from, the Water 💦...so swimming back & forth if it had too, no worries...but how hungry is the 🐻 Bear? 😂...how much swimming is the 🐻 Bear willing to do? 😂...either way, good luck to the Moose & Bear wherever their paths lead!! 🤎💛MOOSE💛🤎 🐻💛BEAR💛🐻... thanks for sharing!!
First of all the bear doesn't have to eat the bear, second why do you keep saying bear bear, "how hungry is the bear bear" and where the hell did you see a moose?
Why do you think the deer is so dumb? It was actually very intelligent, because it's surrounded by dense forest where a bear has the advantage, there are people watching in the open area where the deer would've had the advantage, so it went in the water where it knows it can swim faster than the bear. The people have no chance of stopping the deer, but deers are not cognitive thinkers so it just saw potential danger with the people and jumped back in the water.
That was impressive on the bucks part. Stupid, but impressive. An adult bear would have drowned him right there. It was also pretty impressive on the bears part. He was unnerved by the people. But he went for it anyway.
Maybe the deer figured out this was not a mature bear. He stays in the water knowing that the bear cannot move fast there.Once the bear is on the other side of the pond, the deer runs away safely. Not stupid, after all.
Hey Evan Kuprewicz, do you have an email address at which we could contact you regarding this video? We would be interested to discuss a license to use this video if this is generally possible? (i.e. via email) :) Cheers, Felix
I wish that was me, I'd let the bears catch me, and let him eating me up, to fill its starving stomach up with me. To being digested and absorbed, to nourish itself of me. I would love, to end up as nothing but another part of the food chain for good, as if I never existed.
feel bad for bear prey, their kill is not as swift and efficient like Africa's big cats or the crocs..crocs maybe terrifying but at least their prey dont suffer that long.
True I agree, Tigers suffocate before eating, so the suffering is about 5 mins, still 5mins too long. Tigers are the fastest, lions next. Hyenas well enough said.
Last big foot video was at loch Lomond .he's walking off trail. So I went to go for a little hunt. And was ready to jump into the water if he comes after me. Visitors seen to not go on the other side of the lake. Lots of trees

Never thought a deer could fight off a bear thanks to a small pond.
That's a young, small inexperienced bear. Just leaving Mama bear and learning on its own.
No wonder it's so hesitant to attack

That is a fully grown black bear. It is unusual to see a black bear hunting deer like that but very cool.
the buck did some real good deceptive end move there to fool the young bear
The deer has damaged one of its legs.
Man - “Is the bear afraid of water”?
Bear - “Pass my trunks” 🐻
i like how the deer was like...."is this bear really fucking doing this???"
"Yo, you might wanna move" summarizes deer pretty well
The buck was like oh you want some of me 🦵🏃
I usually see grizzlies attacking other animals, never seen black bears doing this. Great footage.
I think that buck thought he could take the bear until it ate some swipes.

no the buck won the fight and just left because why waste energy
Young bear...give it another year...still inexperienced.

BUCK: watch me zag i'm going that way
