I confirm that this method works! Other than having to use a different method to put the phone in recovery mode, ever other step work fine erasing and getting my iphone 6S out of security lockout. Thx

Thank you this worked for me, I have a bad crack in my screen and moisture seeped in causing my phone to enter a random passcode. I was locked out for 8hrs, did the flash but didnt realize I set it for " Retain " after re-doing it again and using the " Quick Flash " it wiped my phone. Thank you, you saved me 8 hrs of waiting.

no you need you icloud password once the iphone/ipad is wiped to be able to get back in it

Hi, I forgot my password, I changed it while I was sleepwalking this morning. I'm at 8 hours - if I changed it this morning, is there a workaround to 'Erasing iPhone'? I've seen sometimes they let you use your old password.
there is no bypass
When I download these my phone keep getting disconnected to the computer and going back to the iphone unavailbe screen and canceling mu downloads plz help😢
start the download as normal
but disconnect the phone.
the download will finish
then connect up the phone once more and repeat the install
