Unfortunately, if you can’t remember your iPhone passcode, you’ll have to put it into Recovery Mode. First, turn off your iPhone. Then, plug your iPhone into a computer. As you’re plugging in your iPhone, press and hold the following button:
iPhone 8 and newer: Side button.
iPhone 7: Volume down button.
iPhone 6s and older: Home button.
Keep pressing and holding that button until your iPhone appears on your computer. Then, click Restore (double-check steps from here)
You can also erase your iPhone using iCloud. Head to iCloud.com/find and click the Information button (i inside of a circle). Finally, click Erase iPhone.

What if i have forgotten my iCloud password, it it has been a while i used the iPhone. Since i repaired it i could neither remember the passcode or the iCloud password. What will i do. Can i bypass the iCloud password?

There is only one way *I* have EVER been able to do this and it was drawn out, difficult, and time consuming. IF you don’t have a second device that’s active and can be used to reset the password, you can call Apple and there is a way they can help you access your account. They’ll ask you a lot of very personal questions and you will have a wait. I will tell you that all linked devices must be off for this to work, but again if you have linked devices that can work it’s as simple and just resetting your password on one of the active devices.

hi just curious.... i previously have backed up my data to itunes pc. Right now, my phone is locked. I understand that after i restore and update my iphone it will erase all the data. However, does it mean that i can still get back my data by restoring the stored backup data on itunes?

You dont need another device for the 2 factor identification, you can have it send a text to you with a code, this method is good if you don't have another device near you.

@@lyssa2457 right? And that wouldn’t be too horrible IF saving your phone to iCloud saved the settings. Once I get the accessibility settings right, there are way too many to try to re-figure out, or write down beforehand. Sorry you’re having the same problem.
