  • This weekend, Nova and I packed up the van and headed back into the mountains!
To break up the drive, we stayed overnight in the driveway of my good friend Emily, and we all hit the road early the next morning. After hiking about 4.8 miles, we summited Mount Cabot, making a 9.5 mile round trip.
Emily and I parted ways, and I headed for the river. After making a quick lunch and relaxing in the hammock at a rest stop, we picked up Ansel at the boat launch to complete his 2-day solo kayaking trip. We spent one more night in the van, and then we all traveled back up the river to Ansel’s truck, doing a little exploring on the way.
As always, I hope you enjoyed and thank you for watching. :)

In April 2024 I bought this 1988 Chevrolet G30 SPORT VAN, already partially converted by previous owners. After a few small modifications, it was ready to hit the roads! Follow along as I continue to build out the van into the perfect weekender cabin on wheels!

Turn that van into a food truck. I'd pay $ 4 each for those tacos...
