A Disappointing & Boring Couple Days at Mt. Rainier

- Hey everyone! I tried and tried again to go to Mt. Rainier to see her but she was cloudy every single day even though the weather kept saying "sun in an hour." UGH. I was lucky enough to see her peak out for a couple minutes during the entire 3 days. At least that was something. Ok sorry for the boringness, I don't control the weather. But hopefully you guys enjoy anywayz. Hope everyone has a great day :)
I mean they do call it Mount "Rainy-er" 😂
The duck means somebody likes your car. Started as a jeep thing but seems to have grown to other vehicles. Your supposed to put it on your dash.

The term is being 'socked in.' It's just something you have to deal with on the western side of the Cascade Range. I once knew a Russian who described it as "being with a beautiful woman who was sick all of the time." Over time I grew to like the cloud cover... it felt like being awake in a dream & it made it difficult to measure the passage of time.
What I've learned living in the PNW in Oregon my whole life, that you can't trust in the weather reports, you literally have to be in the right place at the right time with our weather. I live on the central Oregon coast now and the weather reports are never what they show or say it's going be like. Good luck in your travels, keep up the great vids.

Well atleast we learned that Mt rainier is not always visible. The clouds are insane there

I went there a few years back all it did was rain 7 days straight but it was still beautiful

Mt. Rainer looks good shrouded in clouds. I can understand your disappointment though, with 3 days in a row of rain and fog. I appreciate your attempts to get a clear picture of the majestic snow capped mountain. Hope Mt. Baker will cooperate along with the weather and give you a pristine, clear and sunny day. 🌞 Good job on cutting the bangs. ✂👍
You made the best of what you had or didn't have. Things don't always work out like you want them to. As for your outfit, nothing wrong with wearing the same thing two days in a row. It also depends on where you are on the laundry cycle.
Total envy of your bangs and eyelashes. But definitely not the Hokie jammies!

Don't worry. You're never boring. But I do understand your frustration. My first trip to Mt. Rainier I spent 3 full days waiting for a break in the clouds. Didn't happen. It took me 8 years to make a return trip but this time the weather was spectacular and the Mountain was magnificent! Continued safe travels.
Moved to Gresham and worked in Sandy, OR a few years back. 4 weeks after I moved there i Finally saw Mt. Hood for the first time! Freaked me out! It was awesome! Stopped and took a ton of pictures and was late for work 😂😂
