This video shows you how to install a combination switch on your 2004-2006 Scion xB. A combination switch typically controls turn signals, windshield wipers, headlights, and more. If one of those systems are not working correctly on your vehicle, you might need to replace the combination switch.
This repair was done on a 2005 Scion xB Base 1.5L Wagon 4-Door FWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:

Thanks for the video. It probably saved me about 30 minutes for just screwing around looking for where the screws were and how to release the switch.
Thanks so much for the video I was able to install the switch everything works fine. There is one problem!!! Headlights will not go off. Why???
+Janice Rixhmond We wouldn't be able to diagnose why this issue is happening and would suggest contacting a local mechanic.
I replaced mine recently however with the new 1 in the low beams would no longer work and had to put the old 1 back in. Everything works with the old 1 however low beams will come on in the middle of the night with it. So, I’ve been having to disconnect the battery I also put in a new relay and still problem hasn’t gone away.
Will this work with a 2009?
+Juan DeHaro Yes, this will be a similar installation.
