This series aims to show the best vehicles to use in GTA Online in a racing situation. That is, around a regular circuit with a mix of corners and straights. How Lap Times Were Obtained Accurately
The best lap time a vehicle can achieve around a circuit determines how good it is and therefore its place within this list.
Each vehicle was taken around the same circuit multiple times, with the best lap time being recorded. For most vehicles this equates to 10 laps per vehicle, but can often be more to ensure the absolute best lap time has been achieved with the vehicle. There are some caveats to this kind of testing though which are worth explaining below.

I recommend reading this for anyone who is confused, interested, or doubts the validity of the results in this video as it explains in great detail the extent to which these results will be useful for you personally, in addition to linking the track used for your own testing/comparison.*
So with that all being said, my vehicle testing should be taken as a guideline. The testing is very accurate for this track and similar tracks when cars are driven close to the maximum without any extra refinements. At the very least you should be able to use this testing to help narrow your field of view for your own personal testing. I would always recommend testing a variety of cars yourself and take into account what kind of tracks you're racing on, what is better for you and your skill level, and even your budget. My testing is meant to guide you, not tell you exactly what to use in every situation.

I thought we were getting the sentinel widebody
It's crazy to think that this car went from being a mid tier Compact car at best, to a Top 3 Muscle car with the Benny's upgrade. And the fact it's the first conventional car to beat out the Pariah for Top Speed is really saying something.
They'll nerf its top speed.

Wow it's really insane to see that finally a car beat the top speed from different class after almost 5 years.

We really need interclass races in the game. There are good cars that can compete against others in different classes

"conventional" is such a good word to describe the kind of car the Weevil Custom and Pariah are. The lil hot rod is growing on me more and more by the hour, and I started off liking it.

hope they buff the hotknife, gasser, tornado ratrod, etc
they made a change at some point to the hotknife where for some reason it now forces extras (now forces bonnet and front wings like the casco forces roof), so maybe they have something planned with it?
At first the Casco could have been a convertible? Never heard about that :o I wasn't there since the very beginning of online tho so that's why ig
They never buff or nerf cars, they fix glitches (stupidly sometimes) or change overall mechanics such as handling flags and downforce. The cars you mentioned have nothing wrong or special about them so they wont be changed
the background script that adds the roof back to the casco and other cars is in place because after some update, every car you purchased came with 0 extras. lots of people were confused as to why their casco came without a roof when they bought it, and instead of just making it an option at lsc, they did the rockstar thing, aka the worst possible solution. anything other than that would make too much sense.
also some cars look really broken without extras, like the coquette classic for example. if you remove all the extras, the entire rear end is missing.
they have absolutely nothing planned for the cars that are affected by this script. it's been there for years at this point.
@@whydoineedahandle9 yes but the thing is, that car was also there for years. it never had that extra-forcing-script. this isnt the same as with the coquette because the hotknife doesnt look broken at all without its bonnet. in fact it looks like a missing modification in LSC. why change it? now of all times?
@@garchompy_1561 the casco didn't look broken without the roof either, yet they gave it the lazy treatment instead of making it an actual feature.
nothing's gonna happen to these cars. don't get your hopes up, because you will be disappointed.
Man, I'm so far behind on owning the top and relevant cars, the new gen/old gen split has once again left me in the dust. It's like the 360 all over again.
But you can get this car on Xbox One/PS4.
Only the HSW upgrades and a very small few other cars are next gen only.
For example, every sjngle car from this DLC and dripfeed is available to you.

So, the suspension mod comes with cambered wheels. Its not massively extreme like most so I might actually be able to live with having it for once, but first I need to know, does it affect performance? Given that on some cars Camber makes them worse, and on some it makes them better, its kinda useful to know.
Anyone have a clue?

yep you'd need lower suspension for better performance, but Brough prefers the 2nd lowest option

I noticed that this morning when I was on. It seemed way to light, as If I was gliding. Then I did a jump and sure enough it stayed in the air longer than any normal car.

The Weevil is mediocre, but the Weevil Custom puts into the muscle class where it ranks number 3 (according to Broughy1322) . That is pretty impressive. Plus the regular version is the Love Bug. How can you go wrong? Its fun!
Could you please specify the lap time/top speed place on non-PS5 platforms aswell?
it's the same on all consoles. only pc is different because we didn't get the update that makes the framerate not affects physics. everything is faster on pc but it depends on the car by how much.

yes but it makes drivability worse, Brough personally uses the second lowest suspension

New Weevil is amazing, handles top speeds better than most vehicles. It really sticks to the ground, although it is prone to spinning out. Easily my new favorite ride
Havent driven it yet, but any car with high power and lower grip (like the Torero XO) is a good car IMO, so happy that R* is adding more vehicles that don't have ludicrous levels of grip
is this faster on pc like the 811? i cant imagine it being just pure engine power for that speed.
No, it's pure engine power. It has a higher engine power and lower drag value than the Pariah
The Benny's upgrade gives it an insane engine upgrade, i think it's 3 times the power of stock

I knew the Weevil Custom was oddly fast in a straight line. The Weevil Custom shares the Rat-Trucks speed glitch too. I found it, I'm claiming it.

Why does the LM87 not have the ability to get a faster lap than the Emerus/Krieger?
Worse acceleration?
Accel, top speed n "base" traction. In slow/mid speed corners s80 n lm87 are not as good as emerus despite their huge downforce modifier. But there are tracks where s80 is on par with emerus tho, or maybe even faster. Its very good on tracks with lot of elevation changes and fast corners and lm87 might be even better but i havnt tried it on such track yet.
5 years to dethrone the pariah
Broughy1322 thank you for your continued update videos on Speed and Lap Testing performance! I know I'm way behind on this but I want to first and foremost send my sincere support for you having heard long ago, (I must have fallen out of the loop) Rockstar wiped your account on console due to that money garage glitch, you know I rarely even play on console anymore. I'm on PC playing Grand RP, love it and must say much better than Rockstars online experience they have turned or let turn the current online world too. Pc player world is likely a bit more fun haha 😄 minus modders who abuse others I pray they place nice. You know I'll check back on my accounts on console just to see what's going on, likely not much been off since the last update. Truthfully I didn't know of that glitch and my gta online experience I avoid glitches. Sadly I was, repeat was a customer of rockstars and sadly a dream of their goal to a shark card cycle of their fantasy. I'm glad I left console but loyally subscribed!

Hmm, looks like I'll be making a space or two for more Weevils after all. I've always wanted to own more than the one Dave gave to me, but for several reasons I just can't validate fulfilling it under my circumstances (garage space is too scarce & valuable, the car is quite overpriced for what it is, & it has never received a big enough discount (until now)).

F*ck. I dont want to buy this dumb expensive thing. But my crew likes to drag race in muscles. Guess im wasting 1.5 mil or never winning another drag race in this class. Sorry i cant justify 1.5 mil for something thats only useful in one specific race. Oh well, i guess its funny now how everyone wasted their money on the vigero for the exact same reason and races, and now its useless lol. Did not buy that, glad i didnt

Weevil is a muscle car from the start, not a compact. It can wheelie
that doesn't make it a muscle car. The Tornado Rat Rod can also wheelie and that's a Sports Classic
