It took 5 years for them to approve me for a Chase Business card. I have personal scores of a 806 Experian, a 821 Transunion, and a 793 Equifax. I applied for four cards last week and they gave me a 20k Ink card. Navy Federal gave me a 25k card out the box! Still waiting on U.S. Bank Business card, and Capital One Business Denied me

Def call the recon line if you get the dreaded 7/10-day denial and DO NOT just go with what the first rep says. Ask to speak to an underwriter/someone from the lending team. This is who any/all recon's have to go to anyway when the first rep places you on hold. Chase is heavy into banking relationships and are awesome when they know you and your financial situation.

I really appreciate your videos. I just got approved for the Business Unlimited using one of the invitations. It took 10 days for them to review. My scores are in the 640s. I do have business checking and savings with Chase and my business is profitable.

I just watch youe video (Jan. 10.2023). Man, I have done everything you said for my business and applied for the Chase Ink business Unlimited Card online. They did exactly what you said. They sent me an email saying they are considering my application and this could take 30 days. So i called the RECONSIDERATION line and they APPROVED ME.... $9000... tHEY SAID when I get the card I call back for a credit increase! Do you havde any advise on credit increases with Chase??? 🙂
Spend wisely. Use your card frequently, then pay off the full balance every month. After a few months they’ll automatically raise your limit. No late payments.
I been with Chase for 8+ years and I have 1 year of 100% payment history with my personal Freedom Flex, Sapphire Preferred, and Amazon Prime. I have 6 personal cards so that puts me over 5/24 but I'm thinking of opening the business account and check for a pre approval.
Michael, I'm sure opening a Business checking or savings with Chase will only help. Once the 5/24 rule is no longer a factor for you, make sure your other cards haven't shown high balances on your credit report for 2 consecutive months when you apply to maximize your odds for approval.
I've had Chase since it was Washington Mutual, so it's been more than 20 years. I have multiple accounts and a credit score of 780, 2 credit cards with a 9-year history with Chase, no balance, and a brokerage account. Hopefully, I get this card. I currently have a Navy Federal byssiness account, which was fairly easy to get, but I hear Chase is the big boss. Edit: 22 minutes later I got approved 😂. Just opened my mail. 😊

Why is the Unlimited card better than the other 2? I just opened my business account with them yesterday and they told me I was pre-approved for a business credit card (which was weird because we hadn't even finished opening the account yet lol) but I chose the Business preferred card because it had 3X points for stuff I know I will do a LOT... - Shipping purchases - Social media and search engine advertising purchases - Internet, cable and phone services - Travel They gave me $17,000, but now you got me thinking I chose the wrong card! 🤣🤣
Thank you to you, Me and many accepted the denial letter as is and we do not take action or investigate, as they told me in the reconsideration line some of this comes from a system that me not validate your info correctly or miss part of it, so it is always good to call, and this comes from your advice
I applied for other business cards and got denied capital one, discover ect.. . I tried the ink and was approved right away. Im sure it had a lot to do with my good personal credit and my relationship on the personal side of chase.
Yes, I agree. Banking relationships matter! This is a great example of that. Thanks for sharing and congratulations on the approval! Trust me, you don’t want a business credit card with Capital One or Discover because they are the only ones that report to your personal credit report so you actually dodged a bullet. 💯
I opened account in august ‘21. (Was denied for ink cash) Applied again last week (after being sent email to apply) and was denied again. Called reconsideration line. Answered questions and was approved for low limit of 3K. Will work on being responsible, building business credit and apply for ink cash in at least 6 months. These type of videos help.
Congratulations man! Glad the reconsideration line worked in your favor. This is an example of how having an existing relationship with Chase can be an advantage.

Kelvin, Im very new to business credit but been following your tips!! NAV recommends some different cards for my business and I am doing very well on my personal credit (finally broke into the “excellent” range.. anyway got a pre approved offer for a chase Ink card but I don’t even have a paydex score yet from d&b for lack of enough reporting accounts. However I do have a 84 Experian score. I also have no “relationship” with chase. Should I apply since I got the pre approved offer or wait it out and go with another card and potentially get that paydex score generated? Love your videos !
Capital one business credit cards are not good. It impacts on your personal credit report every month. It also does not report your business credit to "Dun And Bradstreet" since March 2022.
Agreed. I never recommend the Capital One Spark Card which is why you’ve never seen me make a video on it. You’re right, it reports to your personal which defeats the purpose of a business credit card.
Dogg this was very helpful, although I did get a pre approval from them last year, for dusiness cc, but I did not have proof of my Ein, now I have it, but score drop some, should I apply any ways?
Pre-approvals are only good for 30 days because it’s based on a specific credit report. If you meet the preferred requirements mentioned in this video, you should apply. If not, keep working on the areas of improvement
In your experience, how many trade lines with balances paid off should you have on your Experian Business Credit report before you apply? Did you have to PG? I understand it's best to have 80 score on the business credit report.
I was referring to personal trade-lines. That’s what they were referring to when I was denied the 1st time I applied. And yes, this card like most major business credit cards require you to PG.
All major credit cards like Chase, AMEX etc. are hard pull because your approval is credit dependent as mentioned in the video. If it’s a soft pull I’ll always put emphasis on it being soft pull or no PG. However, in this video I put heavy emphasis on the fact that all Chase applications are prioritized around your credit scores & profile.

I have my LLC set up with a virtual office, business checking account opened for the past few months, dunns number and ein. Is there anything else I would need to increase my approval chances? I was approved but with a smack in the face credit line. 3k. I have over 750 personal credit score. 2% utilization rate. High credit line cards. Solid business credit profile. I have a personal chase checking acct so u have a chase relationship. With this low credit line, I can’t even take advantage of the offer. Spend 7500 in 3 months and get $750. I’m not even gonna activate this card, I’m so disappointed. I’ll stick with NF where I get RESPECT
With all due respect you’re looking at this all wrong. Everything you just mentioned is based on you not your business. Your personal credit helped you get approved but your business profile is what dictates your RCL (recommended credit limit). You have to continue strengthening your business credit for higher limits. Everything you mentioned is irrelevant in relation to the credit limit you receive on business credit cards.
Not to mention Chase is known for very generous credit limit increases. Trust me, you want to activate this card. Not doing so would be the true slap in the face to the thousands of people who can’t have it.
@@4thekulture616 the AMEX Blue & Chase Ink have two completely different requirements. The blue is an intro card for AMEX business lineup. There is no intro Chase Ink card. You’re either approved or have work to do.

Sorry, to hear that. Yeah, Chase leans more on your consumer credit report than business however, I would continue to beef up your business credit and try again in 60 days OR call the reconsideration line!

Chase is gonna be more about your personal scores than business. Your business credit will act more as icing on the cake but FICO scores and everything mentioned in this video will be the majority of it. Since you have a relationship with them already.. If your FICO scores are above 700 I would say you’re in Prime position to apply.
Congratulations on the 80 Paydex my friend! Now you just have to make sure your Intelliscore & Equifax scores improve too. As well as understanding the other D&B ratings etc. The 80 Paydex is the easiest part. The rest takes strategy & awareness.
Hey great Video! I’ve gotten a invitation to apply for this card already but I carry balances on my personal credit cards. Should I still go for it since they sent it to me or should I try to pay down my balances first before I apply?
It depends how high the utilizations are. If the balances are low you should be fine. If not you should wait until none of your cards have a high balance and give it time to update on your credit reports.
I got approved first time applying. Applied with invitation for unlimited card. Pulled Transunion but they also tried pulling experian but I had it locked! First try! So happy I got in! No other accounts with chase. Thanks again for your video.
Hi: My question/statement is I feel credit stuck. My credit score in the past 2 months has jump 100 points, due to the fact, of collections dropping off after, 6yrs and some months. My score is 723, I have one secured credit card, $600, in February 2022 it will make a year. I'm afraid to apply for additional Credit cards, because of the hard pull that makes , the score go down. Thinking I"ll wait to February, 2022, I'll have a year, and my score may go up more. Just not sure what to do here, I've been waiting for 6yrs for the drop off from my score to go up. what do you suggest please to increase my score? Thank you very kindly for your response!
You’ll want to take advantage of the fact that AMEX only gives you 1 inquiry for any application within 24 hours with AMEX. So whenever you do apply, try more than one AMEX card.

I literally just got an invitation letter today to apply for this card. I have now had my Chase business checking account for 1 year, and I have 2 net 30 accounts reporting my business credit. However, despite working hard on my personal credit I still haven't reached 680. Still around 620 and because of this I don't know if I should apply even with the invitation letter. I think I can get to 680 in the next 6 months so I may wait until then. Good content my guy. I appreciate the knowledge.
If you have above a 720 but a low limit and your business is new, fully registered and digitally findable, but new, would this disqualify you? Taking into consideration I'm opening a business checking with them.
I've been strategizing to get this card for a long time and had everything you mentioned, the only thing that's a little bit off is my dun & Bradstreet is 78 but my Experian business credit score is 98. My partner's personal fico is 800. Been bank gardening with $5,000 in the account for months. Still got denied for the Chase Inc business preferred. And that was with the invitation number that they sent me in the mail. The only thing I haven't tried yet was reconsideration. Maybe it was a mistake?
I would absolutely recommend calling the recommendation line asap. If that doesn’t work, I’m guessing there may be some mismatched data on the business credit causing it the denial. They’re required by law to give you a letter with the reasons for denial.
Do you need to have established history of tier 1 & 2 business vendor cards before applying for this ? I get their pre approval offers all the time but, never appy.
Having prior established credit will certainly help but if you have excellent credit and your business isn’t brand new you could still be approved with the approval code from that letter.
Man this is the only card I can’t get that I want!! 🤦🏾♂️ First applied for it 2020 and they denied me. Tried the reconsideration line and they asked me a couple questions which I thought was going well until they saw I received an EIDL grant. - Next year thought I had some wiggle room. Then they told me I had too many new accounts. - Next year they sent me 3 or 4 mailed promos of the card & by this time I didn’t think much of it. I applied for a third time! Still declined. I have a Chase Checking account, Chase Freedom Unlimited & Chase Sapphire Preferred. Ended up getting some AMEX business cards. I give up at this point. 😒
Wow. You definitely want to read that letter or email they’re required to send you within 30 days. It will state the reasons why you were denied but everything you mentioned are common reasons credit cards may deny you. But you have to be strategic when it comes to Chase because it’s like Fort Knox. When I was finally approved it was during a time where I had not appled for any credit cards and well over six months. I also didn’t have any new accounts on my personal credit report so I’m thinking you may have to wait until you have no new accounts within six months or so.

Just received an offer for my first business CC (chase ink unlimited). My business was setup in August and as of now it’s not cash flowing much (5k since opening). I’ve been rebuilding my personal side. Should I call in and apply using the invitation number, should I PG knowing I’m in the low 600’s, or should I apply for something better on the chase side. I’m new to this so any advice would be helpful
All Chase Business credit cards require PG. There’s no way around it. However, I wouldn’t recommend applying until your FICO scores are a min. 680. You may be better off starting with Divvy or Capital on Tap (links are in the description of this video).
If I had a 770 personal credit score , I had an eBay store that has been making profit over the last four years and I have had all my eBay deposits directly deposited to my chase personal account for the last four years, could I apply for this credit card? If not what would I need to beyond that? Thanks
Having the personal checking account with Chase will help but you would need a legitimate business & meet other qualifications mentioned in this video to truly have the best shot at being approved.
If I’ve had a business for two years now(1rst year was DBA account and 2nd being an s Corp) and I just received an offer in the mail for the ink unlimited, does this mean I’ve got a good chance of being approved since they reached out to me?
It means they liked what they saw on a recent credit report. As long as you haven’t applied for a bunch of new credit recently or your credit scores have dropped over the past 60 days, you should apply using the invitation code featured in the letter.

I would only recommend applying if your business is set up properly. & your FICO scores are in the mid 700 range. Without having any business credit your personal will have to be excellent.

They check Equifax & Experian but yeah, you’re gonna need to wait and focus on improving your personal credit scores first. Get it up to the high 600s at minimum but the goal should be 700+ FICO scores.

I have been receiving letters from Chase inviting me to apply for the Ink business credit card.. An invitation is not the same as a pre approval correct? Invitation letters to apply have been coming in the mail weekly..
Yes, the invitation letter is the pre-approval. If they’re sending you one weekly, I would apply! But make sure you use the invitation number listed on the letter to get 0% APR for the 1st 12 months.

I have a chase business ink card for one business. But my credit score is now 652 at the moment after a credit line for a business was done under me and my partners personal which dropped us 60-70 points each. I have two business checking accounts with them and a personal account. I have an invitation for a business card for the company where I don’t have a partner. I was denied before my ding on my personal credit but I received the invitation this week. Is the invitation different from the pre-approval ?

Me and many accepted the denial letter as is and we do not take action or investigate, as they told me in the reconsideration line some of this comes from a system that me not validate your info correctly or miss part of it, so it is always good to call, and this comes from your advice

I applied for other business cards and got denied capital one, discover ect.. . I tried the ink and was approved right away. Im sure it had a lot to do with my good personal credit and my relationship on the personal side of chase.
Yes, I agree. Banking relationships matter! This is a great example of that. Thanks for sharing and congratulations on the approval! Trust me, you don’t want a business credit card with Capital One or Discover because they are the only ones that report to your personal credit report so you actually dodged a bullet. 💯
I opened account in august ‘21. (Was denied for ink cash) Applied again last week (after being sent email to apply) and was denied again. Called reconsideration line. Answered questions and was approved for low limit of 3K. Will work on being responsible, building business credit and apply for ink cash in at least 6 months. These type of videos help.

anyway got a pre approved offer for a chase Ink card but I don’t even have a paydex score yet from d&b for lack of enough reporting accounts. However I do have a 84 Experian score. I also have no “relationship” with chase.
Should I apply since I got the pre approved offer or wait it out and go with another card and potentially get that paydex score generated?

Capital one business credit cards are not good. It impacts on your personal credit report every month. It also does not report your business credit to "Dun And Bradstreet" since March 2022.
Agreed. I never recommend the Capital One Spark Card which is why you’ve never seen me make a video on it. You’re right, it reports to your personal which defeats the purpose of a business credit card.
However if you have a Spark card you could pay to have it reported to your business profile via eCredable.

Pre-approvals are only good for 30 days because it’s based on a specific credit report. If you meet the preferred requirements mentioned in this video, you should apply. If not, keep working on the areas of improvement
In your experience, how many trade lines with balances paid off should you have on your Experian Business Credit report before you apply? Did you have to PG? I understand it's best to have 80 score on the business credit report.
I was referring to personal trade-lines. That’s what they were referring to when I was denied the 1st time I applied. And yes, this card like most major business credit cards require you to PG.

All major credit cards like Chase, AMEX etc. are hard pull because your approval is credit dependent as mentioned in the video. If it’s a soft pull I’ll always put emphasis on it being soft pull or no PG. However, in this video I put heavy emphasis on the fact that all Chase applications are prioritized around your credit scores & profile.

I was approved but with a smack in the face credit line. 3k. I have over 750 personal credit score. 2% utilization rate. High credit line cards. Solid business credit profile. I have a personal chase checking acct so u have a chase relationship. With this low credit line, I can’t even take advantage of the offer. Spend 7500 in 3 months and get $750. I’m not even gonna activate this card, I’m so disappointed. I’ll stick with NF where I get RESPECT
With all due respect you’re looking at this all wrong. Everything you just mentioned is based on you not your business. Your personal credit helped you get approved but your business profile is what dictates your RCL (recommended credit limit). You have to continue strengthening your business credit for higher limits. Everything you mentioned is irrelevant in relation to the credit limit you receive on business credit cards.
Not to mention Chase is known for very generous credit limit increases. Trust me, you want to activate this card. Not doing so would be the true slap in the face to the thousands of people who can’t have it.

@@4thekulture616 the AMEX Blue & Chase Ink have two completely different requirements. The blue is an intro card for AMEX business lineup. There is no intro Chase Ink card. You’re either approved or have work to do.

Sorry, to hear that. Yeah, Chase leans more on your consumer credit report than business however, I would continue to beef up your business credit and try again in 60 days OR call the reconsideration line!

Chase is gonna be more about your personal scores than business. Your business credit will act more as icing on the cake but FICO scores and everything mentioned in this video will be the majority of it. Since you have a relationship with them already.. If your FICO scores are above 700 I would say you’re in Prime position to apply.
Congratulations on the 80 Paydex my friend! Now you just have to make sure your Intelliscore & Equifax scores improve too. As well as understanding the other D&B ratings etc. The 80 Paydex is the easiest part. The rest takes strategy & awareness.

It depends how high the utilizations are. If the balances are low you should be fine. If not you should wait until none of your cards have a high balance and give it time to update on your credit reports.

I got approved first time applying. Applied with invitation for unlimited card. Pulled Transunion but they also tried pulling experian but I had it locked! First try! So happy I got in! No other accounts with chase. Thanks again for your video.

Hi: My question/statement is I feel credit stuck. My credit score in the past 2 months has jump 100 points, due to the fact, of collections dropping off after, 6yrs and some months. My score is 723, I have one secured credit card, $600, in February 2022 it will make a year. I'm afraid to apply for additional Credit cards, because of the hard pull that makes , the score go down. Thinking I"ll wait to February, 2022, I'll have a year, and my score may go up more. You’ll want to take advantage of the fact that AMEX only gives you 1 inquiry for any application within 24 hours with AMEX. So whenever you do apply, try more than one AMEX card.

I literally just got an invitation letter today to apply for this card. I have now had my Chase business checking account for 1 year, and I have 2 net 30 accounts reporting my business credit. However, despite working hard on my personal credit I still haven't reached 680. Still around 620 and because of this I don't know if I should apply even with the invitation letter. I think I can get to 680 in the next 6 months so I may wait until then. Good content my guy. I appreciate the knowledge.

If you have above a 720 but a low limit and your business is new, fully registered and digitally findable, but new, would this disqualify you? Taking into consideration I'm opening a business checking with them.
No, it wouldn’t disqualify you but late payments, recent collections, or high number of recent inquiries would.
I've been strategizing to get this card for a long time and had everything you mentioned, the only thing that's a little bit off is my dun & Bradstreet is 78 but my Experian business credit score is 98. My partner's personal fico is 800. Been bank gardening with $5,000 in the account for months. Still got denied for the Chase Inc business preferred. And that was with the invitation number that they sent me in the mail. The only thing I haven't tried yet was reconsideration. Maybe it was a mistake?
I would absolutely recommend calling the recommendation line asap. If that doesn’t work, I’m guessing there may be some mismatched data on the business credit causing it the denial. They’re required by law to give you a letter with the reasons for denial.
Call reconsideration to explain and sell yourself. You should be able to get approved with answering the questions to their satisfaction

Having prior established credit will certainly help but if you have excellent credit and your business isn’t brand new you could still be approved with the approval code from that letter.
What about buying fuel . Using ink business unlimited. I buy $2,000 a week in diesel ⛽️.
Sure, you can buy fuel with a Chase Business Credit Card no problem.
However, it would probably make more sense to get a business credit fuel card instead to save on diesel.

They’re multiple letter types. You’ll need to read your letter to determine the type of invitation you’ve received.
Man this is the only card I can’t get that I want!! 🤦🏾♂️ First applied for it 2020 and they denied me. Tried the reconsideration line and they asked me a couple questions which I thought was going well until they saw I received an EIDL grant.

Next year they sent me 3 or 4 mailed promos of the card & by this time I didn’t think much of it. I applied for a third time! Still declined. I have a Chase Checking account, Chase Freedom Unlimited & Chase Sapphire Preferred. Ended up getting some AMEX business cards. I give up at this point. 😒
Wow. You definitely want to read that letter or email they’re required to send you within 30 days. It will state the reasons why you were denied but everything you mentioned are common reasons credit cards may deny you. But you have to be strategic when it comes to Chase because it’s like Fort Knox. When I was finally approved it was during a time where I had not appled for any credit cards and well over six months. I also didn’t have any new accounts on my personal credit report so I’m thinking you may have to wait until you have no new accounts within six months or so.

It’s possible. I would recommend waiting until those accounts are both at least 90 days old.

Just received an offer for my first business CC (chase ink unlimited). My business was setup in August and as of now it’s not cash flowing much (5k since opening). I’ve been rebuilding my personal side. Should I call in and apply using the invitation number, should I PG knowing I’m in the low 600’s, or should I apply for something better on the chase side. I’m new to this so any advice would be helpful
All Chase Business credit cards require PG. There’s no way around it. However, I wouldn’t recommend applying until your FICO scores are a min. 680. You may be better off starting with Divvy or Capital on Tap (links are in the description of this video).

Having the personal checking account with Chase will help but you would need a legitimate business & meet other qualifications mentioned in this video to truly have the best shot at being approved.

It means they liked what they saw on a recent credit report. As long as you haven’t applied for a bunch of new credit recently or your credit scores have dropped over the past 60 days, you should apply using the invitation code featured in the letter.

I would only recommend applying if your business is set up properly. & your FICO scores are in the mid 700 range. Without having any business credit your personal will have to be excellent.

They check Equifax & Experian but yeah, you’re gonna need to wait and focus on improving your personal credit scores first. Get it up to the high 600s at minimum but the goal should be 700+ FICO scores.

I have been receiving letters from Chase inviting me to apply for the Ink business credit card.. An invitation is not the same as a pre approval correct? Invitation letters to apply have been coming in the mail weekly..
Yes, the invitation letter is the pre-approval. If they’re sending you one weekly, I would apply! But make sure you use the invitation number listed on the letter to get 0% APR for the 1st 12 months.

I have a chase business ink card for one business. But my credit score is now 652 at the moment after a credit line for a business was done under me and my partners personal which dropped us 60-70 points each. I have two business checking accounts with them and a personal account. I have an invitation for a business card for the company where I don’t have a partner. I was denied before my ding on my personal credit but I received the invitation this week. Is the invitation different from the pre-approval ?
It’s an invitation to apply based on previous credit information. So it’s technically a pre-qualification not pre-approval.
