Thanks a lot for the video. I was considering lease purchase and was wondering if you could as 2 questions for me if you can. Whats the average truck payment per week and the average net pay after expenses?
Can you tell me what’s the difference between getting paid 88% or 75% of the gross? I know it has something to do with the weekly fees but I’m just curious in knowing the breaking down.
@@JuneBugginTrucking 75 % is all the fees included, trailer, insurance, Qualcomm. 88% you pay all the fees separately after they take their percentage out
@@muffpaid6955 so is it worth it? Doing 75% over 88%? I mean that’s a 13% difference and that sounds like a lot. How much were those other fees total? If you think about, 13% of $7500 gross for your weekly totals is $975. Those other fees, is it more than that?
@@JuneBugginTrucking I’m with them now. It really comes out to the same amount as far as take home net. Total fees for 88% comes out to about 1800-1950$. Including truck payment. With 75% just pay insurance and truck note.
Airbnb, that’s what I was doing in California. I was sleeping in my car but bringing home over $6000 a month (including my trucking job). This time I’m going to do Airbnb out of my city ( St. Louis) since rent is cheaper.

What’s up Muff do you look at any load boards to at least see what freight is moving for or do you jus have a dollar amount in your head as to what you like to make per mile? Since your not able to book the load. Are you able to negotiate at all or is what dispatch gives you?
I haven’t looked at the load board, dispatch said I could but he has to make sure the broker legit. Never tried though. I negotiate, but the last couple of negotiations, I wasn’t able to get what I was asking for. The video (why my check was so short) i explained more about that
@@Mr_Clean that's what I don't like about any lease for any company. My friend knew someone with a lease company and got to last 6 months and said he want to pay the rest of right away and they all of a sudden needed the truck back and ended his lease. Fukked up
You have an S-Corp huh? Are you paying yourself a salary? If so, you’re salary is going to be taxed, but in your business side you can write off everything. Keep all your receipts. Even that family vacation and the dinner for everybody as well. I’m 1099 and I have a single member LLC (only because I’m not grossing over $125K-$150K yet) and I just filed my taxes last year for the first time. Make sure you get a CPA.
@@muffpaid6955 pay yourself the bare minimum, $38K on salary, and keep everything in your business name and if you want (depending on how much you make) take a K1 distribution at the end of the year.
