How to Fix Intel HAXM Android Studio Installation Error - This Computer Does Not Support Intel VT-x

- Hi everyone, my name is Abdul Aziz Ahwan from Indonesia and welcome back with me on UA-cam. Today we are gonna talk about how to solving cannot installing HAXM on Android Studio 3.0. Ok, first of all I want to say sorry for my english is not good so if the word I use are incorrect please help me to point out. So today we are going to solving cannot installing HAXM on Android Studio. The error says this computer does not support Intel Virtualization Technology (VT-x).
Make sure you have installed Android Studio on your computer. Open Android Studio, select SDK Manager and then select SDK Tools and then select Intel HAXM. To install Intel HAXM select apply and agree. Wait until the installation is complete. As we can see, errory says this computer does not support Intel Virtualization Technology (VT-x). Read on the error message, that we must disable Hyper-V on my Windows. To disable Hyper-V, press windows button and type Windows Features, select and find Hyper-V. Wait until process is done. After that select reboot.
Let’s open Android Studio again, and select SDK Manager, SDK Tools and select Intel HAXM. Select agree and wait until the installation is complete. Yeah, now Intel HAXM has been installed on my Android Studio.
To run Android Emulator, just open Command Prompt and write code like this. As we can see, now Android Emulator can run on my Windows.

I thought this was obviously the first step (it tells you this!), so I'd tried this already. But it didn't work for me, it was already disabled in Windows Features.

Please HELP me! I already Tried to Install Intel HAXM on Android Studio, but it's always Failed.
When I'm Installing Intel HAXM :
The HAXM driver can be installed on this computer. However, it is required to further configure the system to make it usable. Then HAXM Will be automatically loaded for use.
Installing Intel HAXM on Android Studio :
"Install Intel x86 Emulator Accelerator (HAXM installer) - Deprecated v.7.6.5" failed.
Failed packages:
- Intel x86 Emulator Accelerator (HAXM installer) - Deprecated (extras;intel;Hardware_Accelerated_Execution_Manager)
It says that it's installed but I still can't run my program

When opening Windows Feature window, "Hyper-V" section is not in the list, and I can't find it. I have a Lenovo with Intel and Windows 7... I don't truly know what to do right now

To disable Hyper-V in Control Panel, follow these steps:
In Control Panel, select Programs and Features.
Select Turn Windows features on or off.
Expand Hyper-V, expand Hyper-V Platform, and then clear the Hyper-V Hypervisor check box.
I went to look for hyper v, but I could not find it. It was not present in my program list.
Read carefully the pinned comment on top. You probably have an AMD processor.
You need to enable the virtualisation first and then download and install hyper v from intel seperately. Then you can find the hyperv option

What if you don't have hyper v? I have windows 10 and it's really weird because android studio does not give me a specific reason as to why it doesn't work it just says installation failed.

My error message is -
Intel HAXM is required to run this AVD.
Your CPU does not support required features (VT-x or SVM).
Unfortunately, your computer does not support hardware accelerated virtualization.
Here are some of your options:
1) Use a physical device for testing
2) Develop on a Windows/OSX computer with an Intel processor that supports VT-x and NX
3) Develop on a Linux computer that supports VT-x or SVM
4) Use an Android Virtual Device based on an ARM system image
(This is 10x slower than hardware accelerated virtualization)

@@abdulazizahwan finally , my computer is not compatible to virtualisation , but i have tryed all as i can , disable hyper V , my antivirus , enable virtualisation in the BIOS, follow the instruction's rules, but nothing work

@@darisriyadi I searched the web, found the suggestion to run cmd as an admin and to type _bcdedit /set nx AlwaysOn_ and after I did, I was able to install HAXM.

Hello Abdul, I want to ask about your method to fix intel HAXM installation error on AMD. I'd tried your method and get a blackscreen after I turn on my SVM on BIOS. What should I do to fix that?
When I made this tutorial, I tried the method on an Intel processor. I have never had a computer with an AMD processor so I haven't tried this method whether it works on AMD or not

With pleasure to help, maybe the solution can be to use a physical device and a mirror to the computer. You can use scrpcy, an open source tool. For tutorials, you can check this channel.

Hi, i struggle with the same error message. But for me Hyper-V" doesnt even show up as an option in the Windows-Featues list. You got any idea what i could do about it? Is it because i am running Windows 7?

@@abdulazizahwan Yes, but took me hours. I read the online forums. The issue was i had AMD Ryzen and have to change everything.
What i did.
Change BIOS settings to SVM enabled.
Enable Windows Hyper Platform for AMD and windows 10 home.
Delete x86 HAXM since AMD doesnt need intel stuff to work.
etc...

Not so relevant to this video, but I found my problem is I installed SDK in the folder contain whitespace, once I fixed this, Haxm runs good

Karena gagal setiap pas install haxm jadi uninstall dan belum mulai deh nyobain flutter. Pengen banget nyobain flutter meskipun masih belum paham sama bahasanya "dart". 😂
