Mom is that real Ethiopian mom. Ethiopians are very caring and lovely people who like to share. That is why we eat all together in the big plate showing love and share. Missing my motherland Ethiopia😢
I’m going to Ethiopia with my family in Dec, only my older sister (went there last year) and mom (born there but hasn’t been in maybe 20 years) has been there while my other sisters and I never have, idk how to feel cuz my Oromo sucks and I always mix with Swedish and English so how in the world am I gonna be able to speak with our family there😭😭
As a Canadian, I found Ethiopians to be some of the nicest, most caring, and friendliest people when I visited Addis Ababa. I highly recommend visiting the country-it promises to be an unforgettable experience! 😊🌍 Like Eyaregachu enji wedajoch
I have never seen anybody trying to cook injera for the first time perfectly like you did. I am sure I will not do better than you did being born and raised in Ethiopia.
I can see the world is going crazy about Ethiopian dish with just the right kind of spices aroma and taste. As an Ethiopianv I am always delighted to watch such videos smiling at reactions and positive comments. Thanks Ethiopians for showing the beautiful sides of our beloved country. Praise the Lord

Kitfo is also my 11 year old daughter's favorite food, and she calls it super food. Prey for Ethiopia to be peaceful so that every family can be able put this kind of food on their kitchen table. The best time of year to visit Ethiopia is from September to January because it marks the end of the rainy season and the start of the sunny season. If you come in September, you will have the chance to celebrate the Ethiopian New Year and the 'Meskel celebration,' an amazing and colorful festival. Additionally, if you arrive in January, you will witness the 'Timket celebration.'

The only time i got to try Ethiopian food was when i was on vacation in Orlando florida. I went to an Ethiopian restaurant near the touristy area a few blocks from my hotel that i was staying at. The food was so delicious man. The flat bread and the chicken and the sauce and spices it was cooked in was all great tasting. I would like to see more african style restaurant here in Florida in general. 😊
Ethiopian food is absolutely the best with wonderful flavors and I eat it as often as I can. I almost forgot the honey wine and the wonderful coffee (bonna)
Glad I watched this episode. I tried Blue Nile years ago. I didn't like the injera which is the centerpiece of the meal. The fermented sour taste was not to my liking. I will go back now to try the coffee.
Good you tried it. Injera is like marmite, you love it or hate it. For the first time eaters I always suggest not to have on its own but with sauce. For me Injera is an addiction, it is in my blood 😃
