@@Miss.Bri_ no offence taken. I'm a South African living in Dubai for the last 12 years. Almost everyday I meet people who think Africa is one homogenous country where everybody speaks the same language and eats the same foods. So I'm used to having to tell people how diverse the continent is.

I also have always loved the Ethiopian folks as well. One of my college room mates was from Western Africa. And the Queen of Sheba and Moses step mom are life-long role models for me. His step-mom was from Egypt but kept him safe. Just keep on doing this type of programming.

It is always good to try different types of foods all around the world and experience the food test. You guys need to get out of your burgers and pizzas. Spicy food will help your health by maintaining the body immune system so just eat it well. Ethiopian food is so delicious. ❤

I had Ethiopean food for the 1st time earlier this year. It was so good! My bf suggested it and at first i was like, idk about eating that. Lol. I had greens, a yellow lentil dish, a potato dish, and a carrot and cabbage dish. A couple of his were meat dishes, some kind of chicken was one of them. I would 10/10 go back to the place we went to and try other similar restaurants.

Now i know i can invite u guys to Ghana one day soon, consume some great ancestral history, then heighten your senses and palette with amazing peanut butter soup with fufu or white Rice, yummmm!! Torie, your hand placement with the way u are eating with your hand, is so so perfect, i swear anyone would think youve been doing it all your life...brought me tears becos, u did it so naturally, not awkward at all. I didnt expect that. Are u sure youve never eaten with your hand before?,!! 😢😅By the way, as an African, i recommend your first African visit should be West Africa, specifically GHANA,(just in case u are not able to go back for a second visit to Africa) for your own history's sake, then the people and yes, the food! My family welcomes ur family to Ghana!!. 🤝👍🙏 Just from your hand eating alone, the best Ive ever seen from any African American, ever!

The red dye is put in the hummingbird feeder because red attracts them so you could put a couple drops of pomegranate which is grenadine you can buy it in the store it's like what's goes in at Shirley Temple put a couple drops of grenadine in the water it gives you the sugar content you need and you don't have to add sugar. And they love the red so it attracts even more
Guys Ethiopian Food is delicious not because of the spices, it doesn't have to much spices but it because of the special way it cooked

For Ethiopian food, lamb tibs is a must. As is a veggie sampler of some sort. So many good veggie curries.
We usually get the vegetarian sampler.. The spice is called Berbere.

Try Nigerian fufu and egusi soup it can be spicy but its so good and it’s also made with spicy rice, this rice is just full of flavor, I have not tried Ethiopian food, I have not seen a place in Plano or Frisco or Dallas…so maybe something will turn up,but I have tried some Caribbean, and Cuban food…oxtails is scrumptious food, so many things to try and so I love spicy so glad you cleared the matter to use your fingers! Breeze looked like she wanted to try some meat but yes she only has maybe 4 teeth you could probably mush it up next time ijs. Love your videos!♥️♥️♥️

Indian food is good too. You get to pick mild, medium, or spicy. Indian restaurants tend to only be open a few hours for lunch and close down until 5pm or so.

A reminder you can always take the food home warm it up and eat it , It's good for few days inside refrigerator! Make sure you add more injera on your way!

Yes eating African food with your hands is a must! I learned this from my great-great grandparents who worked in the fields in the south. It goes back to slavery times. I still eat some foods with my hands.

I saw Ethiopian food on the Simpsons episode and they loved it i went to try it with an Ethiopian friend. It was one of my favorite expirence eating a food after that now i eat Ethiopian food regularly withy family and friends
Please visit uganda and try the ugandan rolex(its a snack not a watch😂) and we have a variety of tasty but very healthy foods..
And Ugandans are some of the most friendly and hospitable Africans you will ever meet..you will feel welcome everywhere you go.
One thing you were doing wrong is wiping your hands with tissue every few minutes. I know it could be unnatural for people to have their hands covered in stew but your hands are like utensils until you’re done eating. And the more you get used to it the better you can use injera properly and hence less of a mess.
