Have an '02 Shadow ACE. It's meticulously maintained. It's a chain drive, but I love that little cruiser. Never a problem. Some just buy for the name. And that's fine too. Both good bikes. "It's more fun to drive a slow bike fast than it is to drive a fast bike slow." -Someone
@@intendedconsequences The get up and go on the 1100 is awesome. With the baffles removed it scoots really fast and sounds so much nicer. It's got that pop pop pop going for it and keeps me a tad safer in traffic because it's louder. Very agile too. Ride it on some really tight narrow roads in the hills and mountains surrounding the San Francisco bay area. Fun riding. Even better with the windshield and open face helmet. Super stoked about the Bluetooth helmet. Working on a new camera mount now so I can shoot better videos. 🤣
As the owner of a 2000 750 ACE with 166,666 km on it. I just went for a ride with a guy. Who just bought a 2016 Street. The street has a shorter wheel base, lower and smaller tires. And shorter handle bar with. I'm 5' 7. The street with stock everything sounds like a sport bike. It's extremely quiet. It's ideal rider is someone under 5 ft and likely around 110-130 lbs. Upside it does have a 6th gear.
The Shadow is still in production whereas the Street isn't so if you're getting a 2024 Shadow, that'll be the one. Looks like the same engine so the 750 is it. It'll do interstate speeds so you ought to be fine power wise.
Hey I.C., I think either one is a fine choice. Neither can be "hot-rod"fed out with after market performance upgrades. The 750 StreetRod from Harley-Davidson give you the upgrades naturally. If you're looking to "pimp" the bike into a "crotch-rocket", buy a sport bike.🥺🙄😵 Doug🏍️
For long lasting I'd buy Honda
For Sure!!
Shadow hands down! Never will I ever own a Harjunk!!
Right on!

Used, the Shadow is way cheaper. Yes, it's more reliable as well.
