I love me a good WIP parade! Welcome to the world of floss tube from another green haired gal! I agree another with what you mentioned about Nora's patterns. I love them as well but they aren't very inclusive. I have a few I plan on doing and I think I'm going to try to do some colour swaps for skin tones. Looking foward to seeing your progress on the dark queens. I have the queen of the sea, I really should pull her out and start that.

I LOVE the Moonlight Market. If I did blackwork at all, I would have done that. I love seeing yours! I agree that there were SO many good SALs starting in May-June. I am definitely a Serial Starter of SALs and so rarely finish them.

Thanks so much! That fabric company had a number of products named ‘confederate grey’. They’ve since changed the name as far as I know. I know they probably named those products in the 90s and they were referring to a historical color not trying to be controversial or anything, but it’s pretty tone deaf to not think about what they were referencing or how it may effect stitchers of color.
Awesome first video! I have been thinking about starting a flosstube. I have been getting organized for it and making plans. So hopefully I get to that soon. I can relate to you because of the whole “are there people like me in the community?” Which I’m so glad there are! I have mostly connected with stitchy people on Instagram and Discord, so I’m excited about the UA-cam space.
That’s so exciting! I will try to remind myself to look out for your videos! I’m so encouraged to see that the cross-stitch community is so diverse. It’s been wonderful to see that I do fit in!
@@SaltyStitcher yes I am!!! I’ve only been to the Golden Needle’s retreat last November. We only had about 35 but I think it’s doubled for this year. So the Sirens retreat will be so different with so many more people!
