This is awesome. Tahnks so much, I was wondering if you could make an updated video on how to setup tags for each item or whatever would be best. so we can differentiate between interactable items, so when I look at a pickup item it says [F] Pickup, but when I look at a bag it says [F] Open or [F] Open/Close (for a door).
@@JustJoshinYouBro Sure! it would be an easy update! For each actor you can create a string variable named "interact prompt" and you can set the text in the interact prompt WBP based on the text variable in the actors. hope this helps
yo quick question, how could i use a pickup animation with this? and make it work with motion matching? Or if you know a tutorial for that? Thanks a lot btw i added realistic meshes to all this and it looks sick af
Great work!! Can you make a tutorial about first person melee combat system including damages and armor and also i watched your hp stamina videos, can you add the stat system like strength etc.
@@MelvinTangGames 5.4! And i solve the problem. I connect just "Begin Play" and "Set timer by function" and follow your video it works. Thank you. 🙂↕️
I watched this to understand what an interaction system can look like in UE5 and how to make it, but the tutorial has left me with more questions. You don't explain why you are doing anything or the function of any of the parts you are making.
Hey dude, I was really interested in watching your video. saw it a few days ago and added it to my UE5 Tutorials playlist. I was excited about it actually. However, i had to stop watching 6 minutes into the video. Youre doing everything way too fast and not explaining what you are doing and/or why. I had to pause and rewind every time you did something just so i can see and hear what you are doing and saying. Ill try again later and slow it down to half speed. Im sure the tutorial you made is wonderful but i feel like its practically un-follow-able due to how fast you are moving. Especially if youre trying to teach.
@@MelvinTangGames I just started using unreal a few days ago but id say ive made decent progress. Your video is great but really hard to follow. Im more interested in learning how to do things and how things work instead of just copying what someone else is doing and not learning. Im gonna sub to you and try my best to follow your guidance
I've updated the link for those who couldn't access it earlier. Sorry for the inconvenience

Hey, I am very sorry about that. I will fix the link tomorrow. For now, please download it from my latest video. It's completely the same project :)
