It's simple, you want to listen to Radiohead, you listen to Radiohead, the album, the live performances. I can see why so many people think Radiohead fans are insufferable, appreciate this for what it is, a cover. It is their interpretation and view it as such. As a Radiohead fan, I would love to hear as many different interpretations and versions of their songs as possible, its all so beautiful.
Great bands always have insufferable fans. That's always been the way. I've loved radiohead for the last 20 odd years and I am certain I was an insufferable little terd many times along the way.
When you look at the comments and realise a lot of people have said "too safe", and "emotionless", while others have accused her of being "narcissistic" and "dramatic", you know that this poor girl was always going to get slated for having the temerity to cover a Radiohead song. If she sounded EXACTLY Thom Yorke, what would be the point of a cover?
it's a histrionic mess. Completely loses the paranoid edge of the original. What was the point of this version? There's a lot of these piggyback half-baked artists around these days - google the lounge jazz version of Creep - and they all sound a bit ridiculous. Fail.
Just as you take my hand Just as you write my number down Just as the drinks arrive Just as they play your favourite song As your bad day disappears No longer wound up like a spring Before you've had too much Come back in focus again The walls are bending shape You got a Cheshire cat grin All blurring into one This place is on a mission Before the night owl Before the animal noises Closed circuit cameras Before you comatose Before you run away from me Before you're lost between the notes The beat goes round and round The beat goes round and round I never really got there I just pretended that I had Words are blunt instruments Words are sawn off shotguns Come on and let it out Come on and let it out Come on and let it out Come on and let it out Before you run away from me Before you're lost between the notes Just as you take the mic Just as you dance, dance, dance A jigsaw falling into place So there is nothing to explain You eye each other as you pass She looks back and you look back Not just once And not just twice Wish away your nightmare Wish away the nightmare You got the light you can feel it on your back You got the light you can feel it on your back Your Jigsaw falling into place
every time I hear this song I wonder how can it be possible to compose such music with so many ideas. Indeed a song where everything falls into place even though it feels like every instrument plays his own song like jigsaw pieces.

I love it. The beauty of Yorke's work is that it can be interpreted so many ways and still be Radiohead. I think the vocal is perfect in this arrangement. More of a jazz feel like Amy Whinehouse would have done it.
In my humble opinion, this is a fantastic cover. It has a wonderful energy - it's so similar to the original song, yet so different, making it an incredible experience!
This is unbelievable. How have all these orchestras, choirs, and musicians in general ended up deciding to make Radiohead covers? Best choice, ever. Thanks 🙏
Oscar M Obviously. I think what Abhishek meant, since the emphasis is on "dramatic" vocals, is that Thom has a way of singing that - even though it is dramatic - sounds indifferent at the same time.
Look at bands like Journey or Van Halen: they've had a carousel of vocalist, because the distinction of their sound comes from the guitars, not the voice (even though Steve Perry is very distinctive, a copycat can be found if you are willing to look hard enough...). Thom, on the other hand, simply can't be replicated. Too many idiosyncrasies.
Yikes, people are really ripping the shit out of that singer haha. Come on, if you don't like it as much as the original (I don't either) fair enough, but it's not BAD by any means.
I'm not good at english but leaving a reply here because this cover is amazing. It didn't go too far but took differneces enough to make me feel so good and fresh. It looks like some people think the voice is not fit with the song, but I think it's just because they have a stereotype about radiohead's song. anyway this is so good. really. thank you for sharing this movie.
Can’t believe I read negative reviews of this, I listened to/watched this 4 times in a row. Perfect. Thom wrote it, so it’s his, but this is an amazing redemption.
Oh my. I've been a Radiohead fan for almost 20 years and I've heard MANY covers. This one has a little something extra to it. Wish she'd let her voice get gritty the way Thom's does, but stylistic difference is totally cool and a legitimate thing.
nobody has said anything about the guitar.he set the tone and nailed it.
The guitar playing is excellent! Captures the spirit of the original song really well. The violin arrangement and singing is good too.
Absolutely. Proper job on the axe.
He kinda messed up the intro actually
@@deanfowles3707 true
I appreciate the orchestration but the octave jump at "the beat goes round and round" is so vital to the energy of the song
@@no12578 Just change the key
@@no12578 understandable have a great day
Agreed. It feel apart for me when that hit and i didn't feel it.
exactly, this is the point the song is supposed to change, but she sings second part as same as the first.
I read this comment before listened to the song and expected disappointment because of the inflection that part brings to the song.

Not necessarily. A bad cover is a bad cover. Listen to the one by Portland cello project.
I agree with you fully!

no
Good singer, but misses the point of this particular song.

ojomythgimeht yes!!
can't listen to this perfomance but you are right.
so nice that you can hear the bass guitar even with everything else at a nice level
My conclusion: Thom Yorke can easily replace 8 women and 7 violins.
In your sex dreams
+Fio I'm not sure what I could manage with 8 women and I'm especially afraid of the 7 violins. Even as an heterossexual male, I'm going with Thom too.
totally agree
its a good composer, dude stay quiet
Epic !
Props to the bassist! Incredible work!
This is a great tribute and admiration to great band and an equally anthemic song. The bassline of this song is out of this world.

I like the different feel from the song, gives a different yet familiar feelings. Love it~
A heartfelt tribute to a great band.
Magnificent. I love how guitarist plays this and the whole band in general. I love hot it is mixed and I really love her voice.
How beautiful it is !!!
I just want to listen that cover forever.
This was really good
This is an amazing cover, begins with the beautiful guitar part which is spot on and continues with gorgeous strings and an awesome voice.
Such a cool cover.

The instrumental deserves a studio recording. The strings here are fantastic for Jigsaw.
oh God, that was masterful !
excellent job on the cover !!
I love the violin's interpretation of that shrill sound of the original version

This gotta be one of the best covers I´ve ever seen. Great job!
This is amazing. This version has given me insights into the original that I never knew existed. Thank you so much 🙏😊
Beautiful voice
Yes beautiful voice but not for this song.

The dramatic vocals here tell us why Thom is such an integral bit of Radiohead.

Wonderful, wonderful wonderful!
Brother Yorke would definitely be proud of this performance. Shouts out to everyone involved ❤❤❤

Génial, j'adore l'interprétation générale, et la voix sublime
An absolutely outstanding rendition. Thom and co must have to love this.
Fantastic. Thank you.
Love that cover!
Wish I could play it as well on the acoustic guitar! Getting there though 😁

The vocals are fine you nerds. She sounds like her not Tom and that's probably a good thing.
Harold Penismen she's fine, hell but I think that's understandable when people said she's sing with soulles.
she's not soulless, she's just not fuckin IN Radiohead it's a cover , she doesn't have to sound exactly the same
Its Thom not Tom. Sounds the same though. Also I agree. Her cover was her take of the song and it was good. Don’t compare it to Radiohead.
Just, wow!
I think this sounds great
There's nothing wrong with the vocals. It's a beautiful version of the original. good work! LOved the orchestration!
Wow!!! Gr8!!!! It’s terrific!!!!!! 💕💕💕
This video pop up from nowhere ND m completely satisfied
Incredible!
Sou brasileiro e fã do Radiohead, mas coleciono os conver. Essa é uma interpretação impecável.
Am I the only who thought Hayley Williams was the singer?
Haha I thought so too from the thumbnail!
the reason why i clicked lol. imagine if paramore covered radiohead
No, I thought I was seeing Macy Kate. Her vocal characteristic also sounds similar with Macy.
that was the comment i was looking for
Def could be paramore
Sweet, nice vocals too..👍
Fantastic :)
Orchestra is so good. Damn
Just WOW!
Superb performance overall! Vocals are also very nice.
Great cover with great vocals.
I wanted to find some e-mail or personal site of the singer. but nothing found! can anybody help me?
