I just wanted to say that I do admire your work hugely and wondered if you could give me any pointers or tips on how I can improve on the likenesses of some of the portraits that I do and also how to apply tones properly and carefully.
The darkest pencil i’ve come across is the primo elite grande but the buttery texture of the conte is better, i have no idea how you managed to sharpen it to a fine point though, mine just snaps lol
how many hours do you finish your drawing using that geometric technique? i am much interested to learn it. hopefully you can teach that slowly or step by step 😅

I build on it layer after layer, from light to dark, and its important to use different range of pencil grades from H to maybe 10b

I must try that Primo Pencil too.....yes Conte is prone to breakage I had to be very gentle, I use this like metal Sanding clip for a sharp point

If im not very lazy, I could finish it within 10 to 15 hours, maybe in 3 days
