Thank you so much for this. I have a herniated disc in in my lower back. I am amazed at how much relief this has given me. This is now part of my practice 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you so much for making a video on how to practice these kriya. I often have sciatic nerve pain on my left side, so I was looking for a yoga practice to help alleviate some pain; After doing this kriya, I immediately felt better. I was reading the written instructions on 3HO website, but I'm a visual learner so this was much better for me. Namaste.
I appreciate this SO much. signing may the long time sun at the end fills me and overflows joy out I am reminded of all the people in my life, even the ones that ride loud motorcycles and I am able to send metra to them. kundalini is life changing. I'm so grateful.
this waas goood, i enjoy the chirping crickets, i found it helpful to use a bolster (or in my case bean foot cushion) behind me when going back into plow since im a little tight at the moment and feet dont make it all the way to the floor
Hi +Abigail, Thanks for your love, I'm glad to hear this set is serving you. I'm actually not sure the reason why it's only the left heel tucked under for the first exercise, without a repetition on the right side as well. This is how the kriya was originally taught by Yogi Bhajan. In Kundalini Yoga, it's generally said that when we emphasize the left side of the body, it activates the right hemisphere of the brain, which brings about states of reflection and connection with others. So that could be one explanation of the effect of the first exercise. Sat Nam, Gurushabd
Also to stimutate nerves, nadis and meridians on one side of the body that generaly corelate to a specific organ; and to bring about either yin/yang function within it. To acheive this result one side of the body is focused on and not the other. Great qeustion; Blessings on your journey! 🙏🌌DhanDhan Guru Ram Dass
@@rahkielsingh6028 I believe this practice is also good for flossing the sciatic nerve, which runs originates in the spine and runs down to back of the leg. Sciatica generally seems to affect the left side of the body more than the right side, so maybe that is a reason behind only bending the left leg back. Just a thought, please correct me if I am wrong or if you have more info to share :) Namaste.
+Erin Morris thanks for your feedback! In the Kundalini Yoga tradition we have something called a 40-day practice, where you practice the same sequence or meditation every day for 40-days. It's a great way to master the sequence and fully integrate the effects of the practice into your whole being. Try that out if it resonates with you - 40-days, every day. Otherwise - practice as often as you want, being mindful of your lower back pain and seeing how the exercises impact it.
Sat Nam, Thank you for this lovely practice! First time I ever did this kriya, ji. Many healthy blessings!
I loved Thanks a lot for sharing

Love this set. Question why do you start only tucking one leg under and not the other?

is this form of yoga used for controlling kundalini energy? I'm experiencing this energy rising in my system & not sure which form is best.
