I've watched the big bang since it first was on air, I've even watched the unaired pilot. Not sure I'm a die hard fan but I do like watching the show and still watch it today. Going to be sad when it goes off the air.
The show fell into the familiar trap of young single friends trying to find their place in the world together only for each to grow and find meaningful relationships and ultimately families of their own. Where little by little the core that held them together slowly lost its hold. Life happened. It's both sad, and heartwarming at the same time that many of us can relate. The life of the show has naturally to come to and end. I have enjoyed it thoroughly. But it's time.
It did well for its time. I remember Robin Williams in an interview talking about how Mork and Mindy was ruined by the usual sitcom arc: network gets small word-of-mouth hit, so moves it to peak time, then they need trailers, so they demand storylines they can trail - this week, Mork has a baby! - then the guest stars begin showing up - sad to see Williams showed up as a guest star in Friends - and all the show's original appeal is lost.
One thing that set the series above others is that when they added new characters, not only didn't it ruin the show, it improved the show greatly. Those "loud moments of screaming rage" came from being around Howard's mother when the two first began dating. Talking back to his mom in a similar voice was her way of dealing with Mrs. Wolowitz's loud, pushy ways. However, because she was short, blonde and normally soft-spoken, Bernadette discovered it was also effective with others who tried to bulldoze her in everyday life situations and while at work. As she discovered Howard's slacker habits, she used it effectively to keep him in line in their marriage, as well.

It's kind of funny that someone from Croatia gives you info that The Big Bang Theory is heavily inspired by Howard Hawk's "Ball of Fire" (1941) & "A Song is Born" (1948), both from the same Billy Wilder script, first version being the last screwball comedy of the period and second one a comedy musical. The same script also inspired "Sister Act", but replacing the professors with nuns.

I didn't realize that the duo Garfunkel and Oates were actually the actresses who portrayed love interests of Sheldon and Raj! Dr. Ramona Nowitski and Lucy! ❤️
People were bribing Jim to stay with The Big Bang Theory? Didn’t they think that it was better that it ended while it was still good than for it to get so bad that you were ‘glad it ended’? (using Sheldon’s words😏)
I'm glad they're ending TBBT and I'm even more glad that the writers are putting extra effort in giving the show the final season that it deserves. The current episodes are actually pretty good.
I know it's a little thing, but I hope they follow through on their promise to reveal Penny's original last name. She's the only main character on the show who hasn't had their last name mentioned. Also, I never really noticed before, but they always make fun of Leonard's height, but Penny is just as short when she's not wearing heels.
I loved the whole show. But I have to admit that after season 4 it got predictable. Every body getting girlfriends and getting married. Kind of a dud ending!
So i was like four facts in and i was like... What does John McLane has to do with the Big bang theory AAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand it hit me and yes i felt dumb lol
Yes, but consider how much money the producers make. Is it fair for them to make millions of dollars for each episode, and not fairly pay the actors who actually make the people laugh? And was Sheldon really 5 times funnier than Amy?
@@artemisstrong5113 Absolutely, I agree that everybody should be well compensated. I just have a hard time grasping a reality where 200 thou a week is considered low haha

HOW COULD SOMEONE EVER TURN DOWN 50MILLION DOLLARS FOR A SHOW LIKE THIS?!! I love Jim but honey u can’t turn down that much money for a show that’s immensely successful. I guess he has enough money to decide to stop playing the iconic Sheldon Cooper
Most fans also don't know that the actress of Amy's mother changed. The episode we saw her first appear in she was a small older lady, but later on she was replaced with the actress who plays the bearded lady in American Horror Story.
**Uh, Parson's wanting to quit is an 'empty threat' because the show has gone as far as it can, and everyone knows it** (in the same context as "Everybody Loves Raymond"...Ray knew the show had 'had it's time' and rather than re-work old plots or introducing more new characters...he let it go, which was the right decision) Mayim's character is reflecting her true age...and it shows she is far too mature to be Sheldon's 'sex-starved young scientist' any longer (she seems more like Sheldon's mother than anything else!) (even the 'Beatles' knew "There's really nowhere left to go for us...we've done it all already...it's time to let go before we start turning-out crap or maybe worse, just playing our old stuff over and over and get-away with it because we're the 'Fabs'...do we want to be forty and still being those 'cheeky lads from Liverpool?')

@@DanielCharlesNaijaenterNews He doesn't need to make that money to donate, he already has plenty enough, they all do.
So apparently Sheldon ended BBT.... I am waiting for Bazinga then season 12
I didn't realize that the duo Garfunkel and Oates were actually the actresses who portrayed love interests of Sheldon and Raj! Dr. Ramona Nowitski and Lucy! ❤️
If you're a "die hard" fan, then you will have watched like 3 of these same videos and know all of these
They didn't even throw in that Garfunkel and Oates played recurring characters on the show.
Bernadettes high pitced voice is so cute!
No it makes jar jar look like Morgan Freeman
I’ve been a fan of this since it first came out, I’m gonna be sad when it finishes up on air in New Zealand 😢
Bialik joined as a neurobiologist, not a neuroscientist. That changed later.
I guess that’s something a die hard fan knew that you didn’t.
Well, with number 1, Jim Parsons just got added to my list.
Why include a normal ending to a video, when it is already longer, than 10 minutes?
I’m a fan of Die Hard but I’ve never seen the Big Bang Theory.
Im a die hard fan and I knew about Bernadette's voice.
Compared to the earlier seasons . They aren't that good .
Am I crazy? I only ever remember Shelton saying Bazinga, repeatedly, in an episode around the 3rd season and that's it.
Confirmed. I’ve seen all the Die Hards and never watched BBT.
Ryan Hollon damn you must be fun at parties.
@@Goatznhz Yeah! Where's John McClane or Hans Gruber? *Sheldon????* Yippee Ki Bazinga??
The Joke --->
@Ryan Hollon
@@Goatznhz hilarious
I hate to be that guy but it’s TBBT
I know it's a little thing, but I hope they follow through on their promise to reveal Penny's original last name. She's the only main character on the show who hasn't had their last name mentioned.
Also, I never really noticed before, but they always make fun of Leonard's height, but Penny is just as short when she's not wearing heels.
All seasons more than 10 times. But "Friends" all seasons about 20 times. lol
Not sure how the Big Bang Theory could have continued without Jim Parsons as Sheldon.
all of these facts have been stated many other times on many channels.
My thoughts exactly. All of this info is old news; the title is very misleading. I was disappointed.
WAIT THOSE TWO GIRLS FORM A MUSIC GROUP OMG I LOVE THAT HAHAHA
I guess you misplaced "Even"
Interesting stuff
It had to end before the characters got too big in their own minds to walk among the mortals.
"Except without the jersey accent" girl you aint got no idea what a jersey accent is 😂😂
I loved the whole show. But I have to admit that after season 4 it got predictable. Every body getting girlfriends and getting married. Kind of a dud ending!
So i was like four facts in and i was like... What does John McLane has to do with the Big bang theory
AAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand it hit me and yes i felt dumb lol
This video has nothing to do with Die Hard. Where the hell is John McClane?
Die hard fans know all this trust me .
Never watch this show when you have a hangover
I love sheldon
I wud definitely miss TBBT
I love it and so do so many! I will miss it so much!
making 'only' $200K per episode, life is rough
Yes, but consider how much money the producers make. Is it fair for them to make millions of dollars for each episode, and not fairly pay the actors who actually make the people laugh? And was Sheldon really 5 times funnier than Amy?
@@artemisstrong5113 Absolutely, I agree that everybody should be well compensated. I just have a hard time grasping a reality where 200 thou a week is considered low haha
@@artemisstrong5113 no he was around 100 times funnier :b
@ For some of those actors, that money will be their entire lifetime earnings. Also, average that $900K/episode/actor over the entire population of actors and would-be actors in the USA and teachers, et al do much better long-term.
When I saw "die hard fans" I thought it was talking about the movie
I actually knew all of these
HOW COULD SOMEONE EVER TURN DOWN 50MILLION DOLLARS FOR A SHOW LIKE THIS?!! I love Jim but honey u can’t turn down that much money for a show that’s immensely successful. I guess he has enough money to decide to stop playing the iconic Sheldon Cooper
Sure I’ll see for myself
I have seen this so many times
I know all this
Ikr that's what I said lol..
I didn't know that Die Hard and The Big Bang Theory had such a large overlap in their fan base that an entire video would be made about it.
Why would Die Hard fans care about the Big Bang Theory. Bruce Willis was never on the show.
Oooooooooo........... Lol
Most fans also don't know that the actress of Amy's mother changed. The episode we saw her first appear in she was a small older lady, but later on she was replaced with the actress who plays the bearded lady in American Horror Story.
I noticed that change
**Uh, Parson's wanting to quit is an 'empty threat' because the show has gone as far as it can, and everyone knows it**
(in the same context as "Everybody Loves Raymond"...Ray knew the show had 'had it's time' and rather than re-work
old plots or introducing more new characters...he let it go, which was the right decision)
Mayim's character is reflecting her true age...and it shows she is far too mature to be Sheldon's 'sex-starved young
scientist' any longer (she seems more like Sheldon's mother than anything else!)
(even the 'Beatles' knew "There's really nowhere left to go for us...we've done it all already...it's time to let go before we
start turning-out crap or maybe worse, just playing our old stuff over and over and get-away with it because we're the
'Fabs'...do we want to be forty and still being those 'cheeky lads from Liverpool?')
Gerry Nightingale yup
Parsons is typecast and will always be known and never get out from the shadow of Sheldon. He should have taken the 50 million to stay.
Turning down $50 MILLION DOLLARS???!!!!! Jim YOU ARE CRAZY 😜!!!!!
If you had 1m per episode for 9 seasons, i think he's set for life.
Inserts ladder joke.
Who else still watching Big Bang on Netflix?🙋🏻♀️
*Eydee Carganilla* ✋🏻
It’s not on Netflix
Prepared for me to already know all these things
