- Hey, it's Mayim, and this is a special video about the final taping of The Big Bang Theory. I think our finale is really wonderful, and while I can't share any specific details about it, I did want to do something to commemorate the moment. I hope you enjoy this peek behind the curtain!

For me,the show never ended. I keep playing random episodes whenever and wherever I feel like. Coz I know I won't be so able to digest the fact that it all ended.
same with friends, both TBBT and Friends became a part of my life and it seems that i can't let them go anytime :< i have a strong emotional attachment to the series as it helped me in times i felt sad

My favorite part of the finale would be Sheldon's speech:

I cried :( If you're a fan and TBBT is part of your life, it is very emotional. Who would've thought what they would become? 😊 I miss them.

Seeing that living room gave me chills. That living room that I saw frequently during my high school days. Damn! Thank you BIG BANG THEORY for giving me a dream. This show made me decide that I want to be a physicist, and now I am almost there. Thank you!

I can't believe this show ended, for the past 12 years of my life I have lived 3 different towns, 6 different houses, graduated from high school, and dropout of college (lol) but am moving forward with my passion, and those were some of the toughest and darkest moments of my life, but the one thing that's never changes was that you guys were always with me, and keeping the laughs going when I had no friends. So a very big thank you to you, Mayim Bialik, and to everyone on the show for keeping my sky brighter in those dark times.

I just watched the finale of my beloved BIG BANG. I cried. I cried for myself, and I cried for the friends I watched in my living room for the past 12 years. One evening (during the original run, season 2 or 3), the show went to commercial break. I turned to my husband and said, "Wouldn't it be hilarious to have a neighbor like Shel...." I stopped midsentence and said "Nevermind." Omg did he laugh at me!!! ...lmfao 😂😂😂

I still remember my reaction when your character was first introduced. I was soooo happy that finally there is a girl that can match with Sheldon. Thank you for the 9yrs.

I know this happened a while ago but I just wanted to say thank you to Big BANG. I've been watching them since I was a little girl and I've never known how to deal with alot if things and I always felt like I was Sheldon or Leonard or anyone of the guys cause I was awkward. Amy, is the best person in the world she taught me that being interested in science. Bernadette taught me that you can be a mom, a wife and a successful woman. Penny taught me to have confidence in myself even if things don't always go your way. Howard taught me you can be different amongst your friends, that you don't need to be and over achiever. Rajesh taught me that good things take time no matter how hard times get. Leonard taught me that being yourself is the best thing that can happen to you because you never know, you might just land a Penny 😁
And lastly the best for last.
Sheldon taught me that being weird and a softie is OKAY. ❤️
He is the biggest role model in the world and I love him for it ❤️

I started watching this show when I was doing my Physics undergrad. I aspired to become physicists like Sheldon and Leonard and now I'm doing my graduate studies in Physics. So sad that this show has ended but I really love the characters and the cast.

@@b2therizzle917 He could be lying but I know for a fact that my brother switched of being an electrician to studying to become a physicist, he's in his 4th year of the education in University and he will start his 5th in the autumn. My brother went down to the rock bottom while he was an electrician and found his way up by doing and becoming what he love. Physics and being a physicist.

It’s so unbelievable. I feel like it was just last week when I lost my mom to breast cancer and dealing with grief when I came upon this show that completely changed my life for the better. I’ve had to handled with the loss of my mom and my dads dementia really difficulty but just watching this show made it feel like everything was gonna be okay and now I’m feeling the same way I lost my mom losing this show. I hope you move on to bigger and better things Mayim and I just have to thank you for everything I don’t know where I would be without you or this show. I don’t know how to extend my most sincere thank you but I hope you can this knowing you made my life so much better with this amazing show. (P.s. I’m typing this in tears)

Watching The Big Bang Theory literally made me inspired to study more. I would watch it everyday and after I watch i get this energy to study and i honestly felt empty when i finished it all but I'm thankful that you guys made me study more in a way i guess hahahaha

As there were many events when we almost cried some of them were ( sheldon's last speech, last emotional song the show when they were eating together and knowing that this is last episode of their togetherness in the show, when howard's mom died and sheldon ave some comforting words which was not expected, howards & raj's fight, leonard's mom getting emotional by hearing leonard's feelings,when sheldon and leonard visit georgie, when Leonard was making sheldon ready for the wedding and almost cried, & finally their innocent friendship between all four who got their backs of each other most of the times.

Shows like Friends and TBBT never truly end. They’ve been with us for so long that every re-run, every yt video, every reference of them is like meeting with an old friend. We may not have new stories anymore but I’m sure rewatching the show will be equally comforting. Thank you for that.

It's so weird to see how the "rooms" we've been invited in for years are really just a sound stage & people's workplace. I've seen sets before but obviously when you watch a show the sets look like real living rooms etc. It's sad to see this show come to an end. Best of luck with whatever you do next Mayim. Mayim, I can't express how much I like you and your character on the show. Honestly, I would not fall in love with the show without your appearance. you have made such huge impact on the Big Bang theory. not only by creating a turning point for Sheldon as the main character, but also I believe your character really has brought a chemical reaction resulting an optimal outcome of the show. More importantly, I believe if Amy was performed by any other actress, the result would not be the same. I will always support you and really hope you can get an award this year for your great contribution to the show. Love you!

Having watched you guys for so long.. And even now, I still binge-watch the entire 12 seasons, even after the years that've gone by since the show ended.. You guys and the show are like a 2nd home. So many memories, so much laughter, so many incredible moments. It's hard to really pinpoint one, outstanding moment but we as fans love you all, Mayim. It's gonna be difficult for us to remember a time when you weren't in our lives and when you guys were all shedding tears, doing your final table read.. We were right there with you.
Chuck really devised and came up with such a beautiful way to end the show. Not with you guys all going your separate ways but by being together back in 4A. The room that you've all known for so long, laughing, eating, chatting.. With a slower, more acoustic version of the theme song playing over the top. In my mind, The Big Bang Theory will go down as one of, if not *THE* greatest TV show EVER made. And I don't say that lightly.

So I guess I’m the ONLY 56 year old Superhero geek who’d never bothered to watch this show.
Until about a week and a half ago...
In the last 12 days I’ve consumed 12 years worth of sitcom (I know, WAY too much free time) and yes, I cried when Sheldon gave his acceptance speech. (Shut up, you know you cried too!)
From the hilarious interactions between the entire cast, to the subtle Easter eggs written into the show for geeks like me (like Will Wheaton’s address being 1701) this show hit all the marks!
I still can’t believe it’s been off the air for three years!
But I’m glad I got to binge the entire series as there was no way I’d be able to wait a week between episodes.
If by some chance Mayim, or anyone else responsible for this show sees this comment, may I just say thank you!

Never gonna forget this amazing sitcom ever in my life and will keep watching over and over during weekends!
When the show was still running maybe around season 7, I didnt really want to watch it because first i dont understand anything about physics, i thought it was all about science jokes, but then year 2018 i came across a short clip on facebook where Sheldon, Amy, Penny and Leonard were playing pictionary, and at that moment 2am in the morning I knew I was hooked to the show, sometimes I go to work without sleeping because I was binge watching until I found the episode where Bernadette was introduced and Amy was introduced.( It was the holiday season at that time so the scheduled surgeries weren't that many, plus I am used to have sleep for 24 hours as I aometimes take a 24 hour shift.) So then After binge watching the entire existing series, I caught up with the run, little did I know that it will be ending the next year. I was really sad, i think all of us are.. so I just finished the Series Finale, and I still cried, from the moment they accepted the Nobel Award until the curtains were closed.

Dr. Bialik, I've enjoyed seeing you on The Big Bang Theory over the years. It's hard to see you go. You're definitely a bright spot in the tv landscape. Hopefully, you return to us soon.
I did a tour in 2019 of the sets on Warner Bros and got to sit in the seats of the audience just before filming was going to take place. I didn't watch the show back then so I was kinda like " yeah this is cool I guess but it ain't my thing " I started watching big bang back in December last year and have binged all 12 seasons. I'm so freaking frustrated with myself that I WAS THERE AND DIDNT CARE. I would appreciate it sooo much more now and I hate that. I'm so blessed that I got to go there and am happy that I got to see the sets. I'm the biggest big bang fan now can say for certain that being there was an experience of a life time. Love to every person who made big bang what it is. Also thank you.

I have just started watching this show. Every night I watch it before bed, whilst annoying my family. This has been a great distraction from everything happening in the world.❤️ My all time favorite gag is “Knock Knock Knock Penny, Knock Knock Knock Penny, Knock Knock Knock Penny”.
The Big Bang Theory is my comfort show.
I cannot stress enough how this show reinvigorated the nerd inside me that was kept at bay by so many things happening in this world. This has been my solace for the past few weeks where I binge watch seasons 1 to 12. Its bittersweet to see a masterpiece end but, like the world we live in, change is constant. At some point, the show will end and I am happy, atleast, that the show ended on its prime and on a very high note.
PS. Season 12 Episode 23's RECAP made me teary eyed but after watching Sheldon's speech in Stockholm syndrome and hearing the ending song of that episode, tears streamed from my eyes. Thank you to the cast, crew, actors and the brains behind this incredible art!

I miss this show so much and I still can’t believe it’s over!
I just finished rewatching the show for the 3rd time now and I miss you guys more than ever. As an introvert (growing up and to be honest, until now), the show felt like it gave me friends. The representation of us, awkward people is truly funny, spot on and heartwarming. I am not a genius like Sheldon, but I can relate to him the most with his quirks (OCD, strict adherence to schedule and rules, Purell, organization, labelling). Also, I am a big comic book/scifi fan ❤️

I kept saving the last three episodes of the show for months, just so technically it hadn’t ended for me yet. I watched those final 3 episodes yesterday evening, and I don’t think I’ve been so sad to see a show end since Friends ended in 2004.
Thank you so much for being part of our lives. In 2015 I was one of those watching your show from a hospital room, incredibly anxious and alone. But having your familiar faces definitely made that time a lot easier.
The show caught lightning in a bottle, and I’m so thankful for all the time and hard work you all put into it.
You gave such a huge portion of your life to create the show, sacrificed privacy through fame, and changed your lives as you knew them forever. Just know there are millions of us who are truly grateful to you all for that.
