AEW made WWE realize they needed a change from McMahon
💯💯
FACTS and it was for the better.
😂😂😂😂 that was never the case dummy
No, the affair and sex trafficking stuff did that 🤢
Simon is comfortable in any situation. He knows wrestling fans very well
Whether you like one company more than the other it doesn't really matter. Both companies need each other to get better and make wrestling as a whole better for us the fans.
Kenny Omega, Hangman Adampage, Jon Moxley, Chris Jericho etc. is Best

It’s the Aew fans who can’t take any Criticism
@@thekjkjkjkjkjkj There are WWE fans who don't accept any criticism either lmao
Same.
Saying you dont like AEW because its a spotfest is crazy.
Not really some wrestling fan do not enjoy that stuff as much as others. It's not crazy at all. Guys like me and you enjoy it but some don't and that is completely acceptable. Aew isn't gunna be for everyone just like wwe isn't for everyone etc
it’s quite funny when the people saying that are wearing a “Money In The Bank” shirt.
Especially when WWE doesn't talk about great matches but great moments
@@bravecorporatelogothere's a difference between a PPV dedicated to a match full of spots and having constant over saturation of high spots week in week out almost every match.
@@TrueDaemonLordExcept they have PPVs all the time, a lot of them are based off gimmick matches, and the AEW high spot matches aren't formulaic like WWE's
Keep in mind that AEW is only 4 years old and they sold 50 k plus tickets. That’s not an accident. Darby Allin is the shit. I love it.
He definitely is❤
I stopped watching WWE around 2017 and started following Omega and Jericho in NJPW then when AEW was created I started watching that every week. Other than Brock Lesnar, WWE doesn't have anyone who grabs my attention anymore.
Watch the AEW video that was posted a week or so ago. Drastic difference.
AEW fans: I love all wrestling! Let's all be happy friends!
WWE fans: AEW sucks, WWE is better, I think I'm better than you.

You didn't actually pay attention to the video did you, just doing the classic 'victim' thing.
@@TrueDaemonLord I don't think BrainBuzz is claiming victimhood, he's just making an observation that I guess not everyone agrees with. It is what it is 🤷♂️
Half these people seem like the kind of twitter trolls who comment “AEW in the mud” at every opportunity
"AEW reminds me of a promotion that closed when I was 10 years old because I'm repeating some bullshit I heard"
I can take a lot of criticisms of AEW but "too much like WCW"? No the booking is not that off the rails.
👀
It’s more like ECW than WCW
AEW wishes they were half as good as WCW
True, but the acquisition of so many ex WWE wrestlers and pushing them when they should be pushing home grown talent and... Well from that aspect AEW is almost identical to WCW... But that's about where the match ends
@toddsmith82304 only if you mean the first half of WCW's life... The back half of WCW's life was total shite
There are things i like about WWE and there are things i like about AEW so im a fan of both.
Yet you had no likes seems like internet loves polarised opinions
FACTS dude.
You can easily tell who has actually watched it and who hasn’t.
It always feels cringey listening to wrestling fans defend "their brand" likr they all own a part of the company or something. I dont understand why people cant just enjoy what they enjoy without descending into tribalism.
Amen!
The tribalism going on in the IWC is the worse, especially to hear them comparing AEW with WCW or like that dude said about "Copying us"

imo aew is decent. and i watch wwe way more frequently. but i find myself wanting to defend aew more because of ppl like the guy that kept saying “they tryna copy US and what WE did in 92 when i wasn’t even born btw” like its just really strange to talk about these companies that way 😂 like when i was a kid i could never get into tna because the production wasn’t top notch, but as a kid i didnt understand why it looked “different” quality wise and i think a lot of wwe fans are learning they might just be wwe fans not wrestling fans. most other promotions do not operate and run shows like wwe AT ALL 😂 it’s a different world when you first step out of watching wwe if you’ve never seen anything else
That dude has never seen AEW in his life lmao and his opinion was by far the dumbest I saw in the video, the entire purpose of AEW is to be different then WWE, you arnt gonna see guys like Darby, Sammy, Ricky Starks, hell even MJF couldn’t get into WWE. You can’t say it’s a blatant rip off when AEW features people like that more then most of there Ex WWe people. Also how is booking wembley stadium when it’s your first time in rhe UK copying something from 20 years ago?? Especially because after WWe started doing a bunch of United Kingdom after Wembley was announced lmao.
The kid's wearing a Cody shirt, but obviously doesn't know how Cody got to be such a big star. He just loves Cody because WWE told him to.
@@theletterj8870 I didn’t even see that LMAO. No way that man said AEW is copying WWE while wearing a fuckin cody Rhodes Shirt. That tells me all I need to know.
It was NJPW and AEW shortly after that reminded me that 'hey, you used to _love_ wrestling before Vince's CAW methods got stale for you'.
Could do without the tribalism, sure, but between Vince himself, and how Vince likes his wrestlers, I just can't tolerate WWE anymore; and if not for AEW, I probably wouldn't be watching wrestling around this when.
I'm a WRESTLING fan at the end of the day, I watch all the promotions, There's nothing wrong watching more than one company.
He said US!!!!

If you like wrestling you watch AEW
If you like stories than you watch WWE
Passive aggressive a bit eh?
Those are both valid tbh
@@floptart5712not really passive aggressive, he’s very much right because AEW has on avg longer matches and less promos/backstage segments which literally means they are more of a wrestling company then WWE who calls themselves sports entertainment lmao.
@@floptart5712 No i.m just truthful
AEW just tells a lot of their stories through matches. People always assume that less promos/backstage segments means less story telling, when they forget that you can do just as much storytelling with your in-ring work.

A couple of good answers but good god almighty some absolute wwe shills they should just call themselves wwe fans not wrestling fans because their not

@@baseballno3214 people shit on Disco Inferno because he's a low-class fool IRL and Garcia is already better at wrestling than he ever was.
Exactly. Garcia is a great wrestler but had little personality when he first came into AEW. He found something that works and makes him stand out. Disco Inferno is nowhere near his talent. That guy is also the old guy yelling at a cloud today.
@@dozer11 yup exactly, that’s why I didn’t even bother to respond to them 😂
I like AEW almost as much as WWE. My only problem (and it's a good problem) is AEW has too much talent. There some that were on Evolution and Dark that I liked that never made it to the main roster. For example, one of my favorites was Abadon.
Agreed. Abadon had major star potential
How is “spot fest” a bad thing ? & WWE having better crowd reactions is cap && I bet the guy who hates Garcia dancing loves Otis’ worm or Rikishi dancing but most of the responses were reasonable
I don’t get it. I grew up with ONLY WWE and loving WWE. Now all I watch is AEW. I don’t get why people have the mindset of being “loyal” to a company who disrespects your intelligence.
🎯🎯💯💯
Just in general the concept of being loyal to big businesses whos only reason to exist is to generate profits is super strange. If companies put out good products go enjoy them but don't show loyalitie to some billionaire's/multi-millionaire's company who coulnt give less fucks about you or anyone like you as long as they get your money.
Both have pros and cons but one thing is certain and that is WWE isn’t as good as what it was back in the late 90’s early 2000’s those years are just special in every way and we have yet to have superstars in either company be transcendent. The thing is Aew hasn’t hit its ceiling yet but wwe has. Regardless it’s great to be a wrestle fan with two good products

There was plenty of people who didn’t like AEW but were respectful in there response.

The aew fans were very respectful to wwe/fans in the other video too
@@dominikgose2609I mean the thing is a lot of AEW fans are gonna watch WWE but not the reverse. I’m actually surprised at the criticism but it really feels like most of these opinions are from people who haven’t watched but maybe a few highlights of the product.
Wrestling is subjective. Some people love what WWE do, some hate it. Some people love AEW some hate it. But there's so many options, just whatever you like. Don't like either you can go local, you have NJPW, AAA, CMLL, and the hundreds accessable around the world thanks to social media and digital platforms.
Myself was put off by WWE, because it was constant Roman wins for years and it lacked unpredictability, but you know what they'll be someone out there who absolutely loved that run and fairplay to them.

most people love WWE some love AEW some love both, AEW is still new compared to wwe, so in relative AEW has done well
How are money in the bank ladder matches not spotfests??? And a kid in an American Nightmare shirt talking about AEW copying WWE lmao.

Hmm, bit different really.
Shocking that aew fans are more friendly than wwe, not a single aew fan said something negative when you asked the aew fans.
Then you haven't watched this video or the aew one neither was negative or toxic. Good try and trying to spread a false narrative.
wwe fans are the most toxic wrestling fans.
In both videos the fans have reacted the same. Non was negative both was friendly. Either your to mummy cuddled or your capabilities of understanding isn't developed yet. This is coming from a aew fan to.

I am a wrestling fan since the 70s. Grew up with Memphis, Mid-Atlantic, Georgia/World Championship Wrestling, AWA, and old school WWF. AEW reminds me more of the wrestling I grew up with in the best ways. WWE, to me, is a company that produces content - most of which is wrestling...wrestling, a word they're not allowed to say.

Everyone is getting offended by my opinion
For me I love WWE and I’ve tried to love AEW but kinda similar to what the kid was saying. It’s just kinda hard to watch as a casual viewer. I like wrestling but I wouldn’t call myself a “hardcore fan” or anything and I feel like in order for me to get any of the storylines I need to be watching every episode of all of their different shows. Otherwise I just see lots of blood and lots of dramatics. I will say that I love that they are noticeably better with their women’s division and I love that and hope it continues.
Edited: fixed grammar/spelling errors
Sounds like most of them don’t watch it to me

MJF is the now and next generation. Lots of young and old talent(deep roster), really like the work rate of AEW matches, the speed and bouncy ropes and ring. It’s got a fast physical feel in AEW.
WWE is still the powerhouse especially in the storytelling and sports entertainment, Trips has turned around the company over the last year. AEW has better quality matches tbh, more brutal and more in ring psychology.
But AEW is slowly winning me over, Im tuning in more and more these days.
MJF and Cole for TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS 🙏🏽
I like AEW, Collision is my second fav wrestling show behind Smackdown. I think AEW does have a bloated roster but so does WWE, more wrestlers on the books is good for the economy and to allow wresters to not work infinite crazy schedules like years past. I like how wrestlers can quietly go away for extended time and the rosters are so big that it just opens doors for the young up and comers.
The wrestling business is BOOMING. Lets ride the wave and enjoy both of companies tbf. More competition is always better. It’s pushing WWE, it’s pushing AEW, to give us a better product. We the fans win in the end when companies try to out do each other in creativity and approach to pro wrestling.
you clearly have no idea what "in ring psychology" means if you think WWE is superior in that regard, or if you think WWE is superior in regards to storytelling. And the notion of WWE being "more brutal" is laughable.
One of the few times I actually needed subtitles on YT 😂
I hope you’re joking otherwise how bad is your English?😂
I hate to admit it, I'm English and I didn't understand what in the HELL the second Scottish guy said about someone's theme song....
I like both. Why can't we all both are good and have their flaws just like everyone else. The way i see it, Wrestling is Wrestling. It's still Rock & Roll to me ❤
All about the fun and entertainment
why can't people have their favourite in something? this people arent bad mouthing AEW

Its funny, the aew fans respect wwe but its not returned by wwe fans. Its crazy
What I like about AEW is they arnt trying to be like WWE. They truly feel different. Its great having. Both. AEW has the best in ring talent, while WWE has the better long term storylines.
I love the ones who can’t even fathom the idea of liking AEW. The one fella who said “they are just coping what we done in 92.” He said he wasn’t even born hahahaha and only watching wrestling 13 years.
Long time WWE fan from 96/97, never got to watch WCW/ECW live, it was always tapes, so when TNA emerged I was along for the ride, as it was another hour or two of wrestling a week.
Entertainment is what it’s all about at the end of the day.
Now we have FITE and it’s endless selection of what to pick.
God what a time to be alive, it really is a wrestling renaissance period we are in.
Will be at Wembley and I hope I get a warm and fuzzy feeling in my Tum Tum by being on the millertron3000.
The guy referring to wwe as “us” 😭😭😭😭
It's sport's fault. It always was. This bullshit tribalism among promotions is based on sport fans' hatred of one another and each other's teams. Wrestling should be above that by VIRTUE of being a work...
I think I stuck with WCW until well in to 99 before eventually turning over to WWE. I watched TNA fairly solidly(as well as WWE) for many years until it became unwatchable with Hogan, Bischoff and Dixie Carter in charge. I would say I am a WWE guy now though. I have tried to watch Dynamite a few times but I just can't get in to it. It is great that there is an alternative to WWE for both fans and wrestlers but AEW is not for me.

All of these young kids with no idea of the shite in wwe’s history. After 30+ years of being a wwe fan, I just got tired of Vince pissing down my back and telling me it was a warm summer rain, and that furthermore I’d better enjoy that rain because it was all I’d get. Once Brock won a MITB he wasn’t even in, that was it for me with wwe, until Vince is truly gone from the company.
Luckily, I wasn’t a sap who actually bought in to his “retirement,” either.

Those two would not want to say suck it at an aew event, there are too many aew male fans that would take them up on that offer.

I don't know if it's just because people are put on the spot, but wrestling fans always have really bad opinions when they're interviewed like this 😂
I like AEW, but one guy said it was too much like WCW. It's nothing like WCW.
You are correct, WCW and aew are nothing alike. WCW is where the big boys play, and aew is where the big boys play with each other.
As a WWE fan, I like AEW Collision as it reminds me of old school wrestling which is missing nowadays.

I watch both shows every single week without fail. I do watch ROH at leased twice a month also and the odd NJPW show. AEW is only a good thing for everyone who loves this crazy sport of ours and may it continue forever. Also I agree that they have too much talent to work with so their booking isn’t the greatest
I think AEW is a little too fast in getting through storylines and sometimes the matches are giant spot-fests, but they are getting better with time. Ultimately, AEW being possibly a threat to WWE only makes WWE better because now they have to try.
you don't understand what "spotfest" means, and not every storyline needs to be some multi-faceted epic. Quick angles are fine, and they nicely balance the multi-year arcs like Hangman's rise to the title and the ongoing Cole/MJF/Devil/Undisputed Kingdom
@@rossclutterbuck1060 Quick angles are fine but that can't be the only thing you are doing. Also a gallery of established moves is also fine in moderation, everyone has their signatures, but the talent should display more than just their go-to maneuvers. I will always say I am a fan of wrestling. I always say that WWE is a soap opera with fighting which just pleases some part of my brain. AEW will always have bangers! Not every story hits or have one but sometimes all you need is 2 people in the ring doing what they are great at

They are far more similar than they are different. Regarding wwe , raw is aweful, zero interest. What saves it is wrestlers like Rollins and Drew and a few more. But how much can you do with mediocre stories , hideous wrestling and a lot of time ? As for smackdown.. you cannot save a show with an overworn story (yes the bloodline) as popular as it might be.
