This demo was soooooo helpful. I've never seen it done with an embossing pad and powders before. They were truly beautiful. The white had a richness to them.

They are all lovely. I wondered about softening the edges between the colours for the Catherine Poole ink ones so the colours blended better.

How about using a foam dauber or a detail brush just for ink pads. I loved the embossing ideas and all the techniques you tried! Great ideas!!

This is a technique I keep saying I'm going to do but never seem to get round to it, but I really really must as yours are stunning, think I would have put them in the same order as you did too but they are all stunning, I would be lovely to see them all done again on the flip side of the folder, really must get some of the Hero Arts tried to find some here in UK but everywhere seems to be sold out, well in the 6 places I tried, I lie I did find one on eBay but the person selling was asking a stupid amount of money and refuse to pay that, some people just try to jump on the band wagon.
Have you tried Amazon? Joann’s has Hero Arts ink pads for $7.99.

Those are all beautiful, I want to try the embossing powders! I have that embossing folder and I love it! You may want to try the techniques again, and ink the other side of the folder. You were inking the back side, which I do on occasion, but you get a very different look. Both ways look beautiful! 😊

Hi. I wish my efforts when playing had turned out as nicely as yours did here, I usually end up with a mess that I cut down to smaller sizes or try as die cuts in a last ditch attempt to get some use from them. Even then it can still end up in the recycling or bin! 😂

You could try the distress oxide on black with a spritz so it shows up on the black. I think the housework will have to wait today because now I want to have a go! 🤣

Absolutely gorgeous!!! What I find amazing is that the ones that I didn't care as much for, looked amazing once you die cut them into different shapes! So, the overall look on a rectangular piece of card stock might have been kinda meh, but they ended up being magnificent! ❤️
