While binge watching I came across this video. when the circles of ink collide and make a dark barrier you can wait until those parts are tacky. Press foil into those parts and you get wisps of shiny foil on the background. Enjoying watching your videos!
I have been using watercolor and alcohol inks together on poster board..works good…have to seal the watercolor though…..I put the watercolor on first…just swipe it around with a brush…get the colors I want that way…really enjoy watching your fun…and your comments are so great too
Omg, I am going to book a trip to come and craft with you. My brain will be overloaded with info. But I love your videos and gain so much info from them❤️🇨🇦
I have just discovered you - and you have a fan for life! (OK, I am late 70's!!!!!!!) I love your style, your lovely personality and your humor. And your enthusiasm is addictive....thank you for fun tutorials. Hugs and warm wishes from South Africa 🇿🇦
I was looking for a video to stimulate my creativity and lift my mood - this was exactly what I needed. Thank you, Marion, for being as inspirational as you are entertaining ❤ I need to go buy alcohol inks now! 😂 x
🤣🤣🤣 sorry Karen, I feel your pain, I saw something yesterday and just had to quickly make a video (it’s out some time in October) hope you had lots of fun xxx
Gorgeous - definitely agate stones! Thank you for sharing options, especially the stars. Using an entire piece as a background on a card just isn't my style - visual overload!
I lost my magnet for the stamping platform. I didnt move from my table, nothing fell, i picked up everything and even tidied it eventually. 3 days later, still havent found it. Last time I used the few alcohol inks I have... I forgot about using a blending solution lol. Dont tell me you are that bad!! Lovely art and cards. Thx.
Love them, haha welcome to my world of can’t find what I just put down but, I have an excuse I have no central vision only slight perrifial due to macula degeneration, can never find a thing!
Fabulous demo as normal Sadly I don’t have any blending inks but I am going to try the idea with distress oxide inks to get the back grounds to die but the stars and circles love the ideas … thank you 🥰🥰
Thanks Michele. You could totally create backgrounds with your oxides, just smoosh the ink on a non porous surface, spritz with water and smoosh your card stock over !! xx
You seriously should try air brush painting or a small air compresser. I promise that you'll jump with joy. It will make such a difference in the beauty of your art and how ot makes you feel
@@marionemberson nope...that was one of the first spots I looked...I am sure once I buy a new one the old one will magically appear in a very obvious spot...haha
@@marionemberson lol, I love teal too and is definitely reflected in my house but I also like purple. I have to push myself sometimes to try different colours in my card making lol.

Thank you Barbara, I do try and do that but often I'm too impatient or too late LOL !!! But when I have managed it, it looks gorgeous !!
What a fun video! Happy anniversary! ❤️
Thank you so much Hilary 🥰🥰🥰
Love these colours Marion. I’ve put blending solution on the felt blending tools . Gives lots of little cells into the colour. Such fun to play ❤️
Ohh I’ll have to dig those out Shirley. ♥️♥️♥️♥️

I had difficulty cutting out stars with this technique. Would you suggest the star dies that worked for you?
Hi, I show them at the beginning of the video, they’re the Little B dies, I’ve used many thinker dies on Yupo paper, I hope that helps 🤗🤗🤗
The block fell on the floor!😄
😂😂😂 that’s the least of my mistakes 😂😂😂
Thanks for leaving in the blooper!
You’re welcome 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Put an elastic band around the top and then try to open it. It works for me
fabulous idea, thank you 🥰🥰

Thanks for this video I've never used alcohol inks before, I think my bank balance is going to suffer 😅❤
Glad you liked it Karen, you don’t need many as when they blend they create a new colour 🤗🤗🤗
It Fell On The Floor!!!

I spend hours looking for misplaced craft supplies all the time!
It’s sooo frustrating 🥰🥰🥰

I do wonder why you buy a set of colours when you only use blues and greens lol
If I had my way Diane everything would be teal, but I teach classes and realised with shock that not everyone likes teal 😂😂😂😂🥰🥰
