I love coming back and rewatching these Game Barn videos. Its funny how Justin has the look of 'That Guy'. He knows the worth of his inventory, he's confident, but calm and cool and so nonchalant about it all and Chase is like a kid in a candy store.... Here we are a year and a half later and Chase is now 'That Guy'!! Its so fun to see the progression and how far the team has grown and become a powerhouse in the business!
I like how you did a breakdown of your thought process before making the purchase. Really good insight for anyone who is looking at buying a collection. Looking forward to the auction!
it's not to build a collection,.. they are trying to buy all this guys stuff so they can make more money off it in individual sales. They are little rich kids using family money.
@@dr.decker3623 I think you misunderstood me. I actually said it was good insight for anyone looking at buying an entire collection. If that is your opinion of them, then you haven't watched any of his other videos. Your judgment is way off. He's worked his ass off his whole life to get to this point
How on earth you two get all that stuff sorted listed tested cleaned checked and sold is honestly a mystery. Its exhausting just thinking about it. Great video.
Wow. GameCube was my first system growing up as well, so it’s always nice when you find some. Even better when you buy over 500! Got a couple questions: I’m selling at an comic expo at the end of the month. Like a comic con for a small town. I chose to get 1 table because we aren’t sure how the turnout will be. So if you only had one 6 foot table’s worth of stuff to sell, how would you do it? I sell mainly video games and vintage/collectible toys, so we’re somewhat similar. Provided I do well at the expo, I was thinking about getting a couple things grading. Would you ever consider getting into graded toys? I have a sealed and I punched Hulk Hogan bendy figure from 1985 that I want to get graded. It’s not super minty, but it may be one of a kind. And for my last question, where does battle doo come from? Thanks for the content guys!
I would either sell low dollar flat-priced games that you can stack on the table by the dozens, or I'd focus on high-end. You can also put tubs of low dollar stuff under the table.
Hey guys, big fan of the channel here from the UK! Do you think a lot of your techniques would work over here? There’s so many resellers on UA-cam all based in the US. Would love to give it a go, and join the patreon/discord but just not sure if the same games are worth the same over here etc.
There is a ton of value in the Patreon, but will definitely require more work for you to get a lot out of it. If you’re willing to put in the work, I’d encourage you to give it a shot. You may be surprised how valuable that community is, and you could even help us make it better for our friends in the UK!
@@ChaseAfterTheRightPrice Thanks for the reply! I think I will join soon! I’m sure it will help and will be great to be a part of your community. Keep up the good work chaps 👍
So basically this stuff will go for double retail on what not. Horrible app if you want to buy from a youtuber you get bid up 2 or 3 times retail on what not
Never really see that in our auctions, our stuff averages retail. Some goes above, some below. It’s a great benefit for us to move many items quickly. We’re very happy all of our buyers have been satisfied.

@@therealgamingnation41 When i'm buying anything really, I try to factor in worst-case scenario prices. Say there's a bundle with a system and games for $50, and there's a high chance the system won't work. Either the games need to be worth well more than $50, or I need to get it for less than $50. It's good to play it safe, and potentially pass on a deal instead of being out a bunch of money and time if things don't pan out.

If Amazon loses items in your shipment checkin what do you provide them?, don’t they require invoices for lost shipments/items
Sometimes receipts will work too. They do say they require an invoice though
Amazing since 10 years ago Gamecube games were basically throw in the garbage and nobody cared that much about it.
