Correction: Although Jens is a genius, he didn't write the book like we said 😂 Credit goes to Martin Lindell and CM Sahlberg. Guess we should have looked at the authors... 😂
hey bro was the first pokemon blue you showed the only fake one?
Hay bro do you have the Pokemon comics?
Like this one
There were a couple more, but again it was all worked out 👍
@@ChaseAfterTheRightPrice appreciate the reply my man
Hi! I’m the author of the Swedish SNES book together with Carl Michael Sahlberg. Jens was interviewed and his old store JP Spel was featured on 4 pages on the book. But he did not write the book itself. 😀
Thank you for the clarification! It’s an awesome book!
Jens is an legend in the retro community here in Sweden, a rockstar so to speak! Hope you deal with him in the future:)
Just wanted to say I got my Pokemon Yellow from your last whatnot stream and I absolutely love it. I felt very fortunate to win the giveaway and as someone who has watched your channel for years I’m thrilled to display it in my collection. So happy for all of your success and can’t wait to watch more. Thank you!
Ah you deserve it
Are you selling by any chance?
Bitmap brothers are legendary!! Speedball 2, GODS, The Chaos Engine, Xenon. They were big on the Commodore Amiga, some amazing music too.
Love this collection! Swedes are really kind people, I've bought a few vintage t-shirts from Swedish sellers and it has always been a great experience.
I love that you mentioned Gameboy Micro going on clearance at Toys R Us. I got mine for $15 on clearance at Gamestop. And there was a sale for two free games with the purchase of a gaming system. So I got Emerald and Fire Red for free. best deal I ever got in my life
What’s considered the best gameboy version? The color, light, pocket, or others I’m forgetting.
I dunno why but these videos bring me so much joy watching cause the memories flood back. I can tell you Im clearing my major cards so I can get back all my old 64 games CIB and I think I saw a few I bought today. Thanks again guys love being around!
I was recently looking at my dads old video games and came across spider man for the Dreamcast. The best part is that it is complete. Thanks for these videos, CATRP crew
That’s awesome, very cool collection piece!
Niiiiice. I did some retro game hunting in the Czech Republic last year during a study abroad program. It wasn't exactly easy, I'm gonna post a video chronicling my travels soon. I had an fascinating conversation with the curator of Cibien's Corner, a gaming museam in Prague who was born and raised there. According to him, video games weren't really a thing until the iron curtain fell in the 1990s. And games didn't start selling there for awhile. So when he wanted video games, he and his friends had to go up north and buy them in Germany. So all the video games they played back then were in German.
Nerds at work - you guys are fun to watch. Stay safe
Woah did not expect you to talk about Jens on the channel! Thats so cool that he sent you guys these games!
Jens is a legendary man here in Sweden!
Such awesome content. Your videos have inspired me to search for all our old Nintendo stuff. Just found a NES Metroid complete in box. Also found our old Micro complete as well. Keep up the great work!
Why are these videos so fun to watch. Love the format keep it up.
The price comps say new/sealed on the price charting clips. I think those are used prices.
the sheer volume of what you bring in and move is so beyond impressive
I really enjoyed seeing these retro games. Nice haulage there.
Just noticed the Bug-A-Salt salt gun on the wall. I got on in the first kickstarter batch, I haven't seen one in ages!
PLEASE DO A FEATURE on him, please. It is important! His work is important and it would be interesting!
I'm truly in awe of this one CATRP Crew, Just Insane, Bravo nice score from the guys Chase.
Always pumped to get your video notifications!
The story mode on smash bros brawl is arguably one of my favorite experiences on the Wii. Game doesn’t deserve the hate it gets imo
The story about Nintendo in Sweden is CRAZY!
I wonder if there's a translation for the documentary.. 🤔
Basically a dude from the Gothenburg area went to Japan and got an exclusive import deal in the nordic countries (at least Sweden, Norway and Denmark)..
Bergsala AB is the company and I think they still have the deal.. There's a huge Mario statue by the highway in Kungsbacka south of Gothenburg where they have their offices..
I think that deal is the only such deal Nintendo ever made

How did a Nintendo dealer have a fake Pokemon game
Might have been a trade in or a bogus return
Fake title.
There's no way you'd be in the business of selling Nintendo for that long and not know that wasn't legit.
Many of the stuff sold here looks used or generally played. Considering that they are from Sweden it's likely that they just also happened to collect (NTSC) games themselves aside from their business of dealing in nintendo product. The only product they would be selling would be pal as seen on the pictures. And you also wouldn't really come into contact with fakes by just dealing in nintendo stock.

'Seems suss to me..
Penguin and Seals is an extremely rare game there was a video on yt some top 10 list can’t remember sadly but that was in 2013 and back then it was priced at 650$.
@-ChaseAfterTheRightPrice what’s up bro
Legend of the mystical ninja is so fun! One of my friends growing up had the mystical ninja goemon for the n64 and i always thought it was such a good game i looked for the series for the rest of my existence

Nintendo dealer sounds like the new drug on the street.
THE REMAKE OF ADVANCE WARS PALES IN COMPARISON
He stinkin' loves it
did anyone else see the angry video game nerd review a bunch of those unsilenced blue nes carts haha!!!!
Harvest moon! What a GOAT game
CATRP has gone international!
I’m trying to find an old super Mario world strategy guide magazine that I got years ago in a grocery store and it wasn’t Nintendo power or Game Pro. It had a grey border around the front of the magazine and was $29.99 back then. Can anyone help me out and point me in the right direction on where to maybe find a copy? I’ve been searching for months now!! Thanks in advance!! It’s the SNES Mario World btw!
I rember getting leathel weapon nes my parents got for me for Christmas played the heck out of that game
the holy grail in 5 boxes
So Final Fantasy 3 and Final Fantasy Legend 3(as you displayed in the video at #8) aren’t the same as a heads up. Final Fantasy Legend 3 is on the OG Game Boy. Just a heads up, great video!
12:00 I stg I thought that was like club penguin or something LMAOOO
The most exciting is not always the most valuable.
It's always cool seeing videos like 🙂
Great unboxing! I bought a few of these off whatnot!
I remember when Atari games were 50 bucks and SNES games were 75!!!!
GODS was a wonderful game and one of the hardest. We had it on the sega. One of the coolest soundtracks also.
There is a cart only for seal and penguin for 38 euro which is around $40 ...not sure about sealed
Hey punk, are you tuff e nuff? First voice on point. The second voice is just hilarious
ALPAL should continue spending your money and start spending mine

Ive been trying not to watch this video for months because i know im going to be overwhelmed with jealousy ..but the nostalgia niccin' has won the battle
Lost my dog of 10 years today. I have not been able to have children so he was my child, a member of my family
Sending you lots of love.

Advanced wars was my favorite game I played it everyday on the bus ride to and from school that made me smile so much and have looked for that game for awhile omg that’s so cool
I wish y’all would live stream the whatnot auction on here.
@@JoseLopez-yx4et lol why are you hurt so fast?
I loved brawl.... Really good balance. But I get why it took long for tournaments to adopt it. Melee had more fun exploits if u knew your character
how do you find yard sales
Darn I was too late for Earthworm Jim
Hands down, second voice 🤣
Having a f,ake Pokemon says it all! 😅

Amazingness!!
I'm 90% sure that penguin game you guys have never seen inspired the design for the Original Club Penguin!!! All my 2000's homies know about Club Penguin
I love u guys and like your channel. Big fan from saudi arabia
disney n 64
When you purchase games from other countries what do you do about region codes?
It’s just a small piece of plastic that kept “region” locked games, we are past that.
@@robdiaz6543 That is not true. Many consoles have region locking chips or software. Also there are price differences between regions. It is not an issue for gameboy games to play them on different region consoles but you still would have more trouble selling them in the wrong region.
Lets Go!
Hey,
Love y’all’s videos I’m a collector and I’ve been keeping up with y’all’s videos. I’ve been looking for a 1st Print Legend of Zelda CIB that’s not sealed with the Casette Manual for my personal collection that’s clean. Ive tried to ask in y’all’s WhatNot streams but it’s always so hectic my message always gets buried. Figured I would try to ask here and see if yall have one for sale
What do you want for Ice Climber and Pyramid?
RJ
Not a super valuable game but you should try aerobiz supersonic It's a flight company simulator. In my late teens we would sit around drinking playing it for hours. it was a turned based multi player game where you would build you company then turn against you friends at the end bankrupting them.
I had Gods as a kid it was a decent game. I'm from Canada
I just bought a CIB copy of John Madden Football off you this morning to complete my Sega Genesis Madden collection. Thanks for processing it so quickly! Will do business again.
How much did you pay?
And to no surprise you still didn't respond or answer the question
@@therealavolpe They wanted $29.99, I offered $23 and they accepted.
@@gregkareem9824 I have a job and a life. I don't lurk in the comments all day checking to see if someone responded. I only saw this because I came back to the video to rewatch something.
YS HYPE!
yikes betterhelp...
Cool video! Thumbs up from Sweden👍🇸🇪😁
Hello
What’s ur whatnot name under?
Swedish Nintendo dealer but almost the entire collection is North American region instead of PAL 🤔
Yes, I get trade-ins with NTSC games from time to time! 😊
Nice!!
Advanced wars 2 is awesome
It's not hard to see a fake Pokémon game in Brazil, I never seen a original version of this game here. Nintendo never made a Portuguese version of his games :(
When you find a fake game do you trash it? Sucks the market is prob flooded with fakes.
Superb video Brother's. Congratulations on Your amazing buy! Great message on grieving and mental health. Thanks always for sharing Your passion and adventures from Toronto Ontario Canada 😎 👍 ♥️ 🤍🖤💛 ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️✨️✨️💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
a nintendo employee had to know it was fake
SPEND SPEND SPEND :)
Where are you guys located?? I’m looking in to selling my entire collection
Nerds who dont know how to spot a first vesion of pokemon blue/red
The story about Bergsala, Owe Bergsten and Nintendo in Sweden! ua-cam.com/video/SKgL8u4CPJ8/v-deo.htmlsi=7HsfDDvlCH428AyO
Who is your sponsor for gaming accessories? I know two UA-camrs who are resellers and your sponsor will help them out.
Does Sweden play NTSC games? Or is this was this Swedish dealer just collecting NTSC stuff?
yes, in the 90s during the Supernes era, many NTSC games were also popular in Sweden and sold together with adapter! These games are purchased over the years along with other PAL games! 😊
So a fake came from a legit dealer? Wonder how that happened? Also can you explain what determined it was fake? I'd like to own a legit CIB of Red, Blue, or Yellow someday..but so scary spending that kind of money when there are SO MANY fakes...even coming from a legit Nintendo dealer.
Just like you man my dad bought our fist snes system at a flea market for 75$ with donkey Kong country 2, Mario world, killer instinct and street fighter 2. Still got the bad boy 😎
isnt that final fantasy 3 not final fantasy legend 3.... its hard to see lol
❤❤
So what did you do about the fake Pokémon Blue.
Just listed a 20k collection in Central ohio... hollar at me! Sam remy!
