I had the same problem. Last year I spent the summer with my daughter in GA. I received a phone call from my water company that a pipe broke in my house, and 28,000 gallons of water in my home. Which resulted in black mold in my entire house. I lost everything. It took 9 months before I could get back in my house and I am still trying to replace some of the things that I lost. What’s worse is....I am a widow. But thanks to god I’m still alive. My condolences to your friends and hope they eventually get their home back. God bless. 🙏🏻

..mold is a huge problem in a lot of homes across the USA & the world... it's not just the demolition and re-construction costs, but the immediate AND long term health issues...here is hoping that art and bri's remediation company..can get in the 'tear out' ASAP... sending good energy, karma and TONS of ❤️ their way...thank you justin and rebecca for bringing even more attention to their current dilemma... ❤️ve wheny'all's homesteading community...comes together for one another...☮️&🌿's
This sucks for them sorry to hear this. We been through mould I'll ess ourselves. We lived in a 2 bedroom home with our 1st child, he developed asthma and my husband and I both got very unwell and my husband developed pneumonia, we got asked if there was mould in our home and we said not that we knew of and checked and there was nothing we could see........ Our second child was about a week old when I moved her cot along our bedroom wall and ripped a piece of wall paper off and it was completely BLACK underneath the wall paper. We moved away as soon as we could. My husband has permanent issues with getting unwell and it going straight to his lungs everytime. And our son is only now at age 9 growing out of his asthma. Our daughter now 6 year old suffers from multiple unknown allergies. I hope your friends get all the help they need. Xxxxx
That is so rough for them. We had friends with the same problem and their children ended up with some really hard to deal with health issues. Fortunately we were living outside the country and had an empty house that they were able to sell them. They ended up remedying and renovated their house and selling it, of course they didn't have a homestead built up. I hope they can get healthy quickly and have their home back soon.

It would be best to just build a new house of natural materials like cob. It will wick the moister out keeping it at 50% humidity and thus no mold problem, ever. Also no carpet, sheet rock or any other man made materials to off gas toxic chemicals. And while your at it quit eating man made food, or processed food, then you can begin to be healthy, not saying they do but everyone needs to head this one. A cob house is dirt cheap to build also. We wish them the best, does my heart good to see that people still care, good luck and God bless.
Black mold is very serious. My own beautiful friend also lived unbeknownst to her for a long period of time in a moldy home. Her life changed forever as she was taken to hospital for an extended time and for years now has a permanent throat tube for breathing. Don't attempt to take care of this unless you have hazmat clothing and experience in proper disposal of this life threatening mold. My heart goes out to the family and that all will be fine after the issue is addressed.
When I was younger my parents rented a house that had horrible black mold (we didn’t know until after I got sick) and I got pneumonia from it .. it’s definitely not something to ignore!
The mold that was probably in their home was black mold which is the worst mold to ever have in your home or anywhere really, there is also good mold but obviously not in this case. I hope their respiratory issues clear up and nothing more is to behold from that situation and that they reach their goal to take care of the damages.

Many of us have these problems with our homes. especially with the rainy yrs... Ozone is very helpful etc....
