I just got the pro plus n a mic transmitter n I love this Bose very much. It’s my first Bose speaker. It’s extremely loud but so clear n so much bass which I just keep it all the way down because it doesn’t need more. It is so damn loud but I don’t need all that volume but nice to know it’s there for a wild party!!! Great review!!
It's nice and loud but not for a party more for personal use or BBQ's not for parties unless you white

How does this compare to the soundboks Gen 4? Which one is louder? Better sounding? TIA
@ 2:15 just for the info, you can press the buttons to toggle through different options like, bass, treble and volume on each channels not for muting as the presenter said. Hope this helps.

How is the bass on this? I have a JBL 310, love the bass but hate the portability. Debating wether or not to sell it for this bose. What you think?

Me too. I dont really like the new Power button. Sometimes it doesnt work correctly to Power on or off the speaker. I often need to press twice
I bought the bass modular sub, one powered subwoofer and connected with that sounds awesome

I don't think the wireless mic and instrument transmitters will go down in price. They are proprietary to Bose and are on par with the cheapest, RELIABLE equivalents from other brands musicians go to for these conveniences. Honestly, $300 for both is a steal for transmitters that are made to work on this platform. GREAT REVIEW.

Anyone have heard about the Maui 5 Go ? Just saw this on IG ads. I’m still searching for the best solution for a battery powered speaker to play live solo set outside or for rehearsals (or jam sessions) but I’m hesitating between Bose s1 pro+ or the Everse 8 (which seems to be fire also)

Whaaa? I have been around sound 30 years and a DJ for 15 years and I have never heard of Soundboks….
Sometimes it gets stuck in power mode and it shuts down by itself too many times in 3 months I had the older version and last me for 5 years with no problem but this one plus is not recommended in my opinion
Thosa knobs break protection
The only good upgrade I see is the app. And why couldn't they just do that via software or whatever?
That being said, the original one is insanely loud, and sounds perfect with vocals for karaoke.

Right! Recorded by a phone mic 10 feet away from speaker, uploaded and compressed via UA-cam, and played through another cell phone speaker…. I don’t know why they do sound tests period.
My JBL headphones couldn't handle it 😂
These are not even loud enough to cover 100 people with 2bose s1 . But good for home

Yo if you're referring to the video, of course it's going to sound awful lol, but it's a PA, it's meant to be loud, but I tried it myself, it's just okay, not the best, so I somewhat agree with you there
Loud and distorted sounding
The volume was only distorted because the mic used in this video was over drove. These speakers both have zero distortion
No delay no mids the reverb no good. And u cannot conect a multy effect board if u are using 2 xlr outs. Dont listen to these UA-camrs there no honest
Heads up, the S1 pro and S1 pro+ do not wirelessly connect to each other on party mode. They are on different apps, i learned the hard way, now have to return s1 Pro+

This sucks 😢just for that I don’t want to buy it. Plus the digital buttons scare me bc there’s nothing long lasting than physical buttons when it comes to digital. And how to replace the battery etc. 😢 great review though
