Hdmi does sound too but doesn’t send mic sound. The latest video I made has a model that mixes thru hdmi but soundbars still suck
@@raymonddai thanks for the quick reply. would it be possible to use an rca to toslink converter box??? so the red and white audio goes into the box which converts the signal to digital optical out which i can plug into my soundbar. would that be an option
@@chersney the karaoke has a toslink output so u can hdmi to tv and optical tk soundbar but like I said there’s no mixer built into this model of karaoke and soundbars tweeters are so small they sound crackly when u sing , but if you insist you can try this one on Amazon .

Hi - I have the old Cinemate GS Series II home theater speaker set. It’s old but works well still. Do you have any Bose specific mixer or product that will allow me to connect it to an after market 4-microphone system? I’ve been looking at all the local electronic stores but Bose makes it super difficult to connect their product with 3rd party receiver/mixers.
Home theaters usually sound terrible for karaoke regardless of mixer , but you can simply use a vocapro mixer to connect to the rca input jack of your Bose and try
@@raymonddai Thank you for the response. I tried using that, but the issue with the Bose system is that their connections are not the same as normal speakers/subwoofer so I couldn't find an aftermarket mixer or receiver I can use.
@@chercha9441 cut the wires from the speakers and just stick them in any amp. That’s just boses trick to make u upgrade , all spekaers are just basic positive and negative wires

Just plug the microphone receiver into the mic input port of the bose and it’ll work
how do you setup to make the songs’ rating system work?
It’s a pointless feature really but you plug the mics into the mic input of the karaoke then the mic output to the speaker or mixer . So it becomes a passthru and reads the signal from the mics and “judges” your Chinese singing based on that. But after about 3 rounds of shots this has no meaning
How many microphone can connect and sing at a time? If we want to sing duet, is it possible to use two microphone?
There’s no limit, it has two mic jacks but I can plug on 4 mic sets into them and have 8 mics even

what do you mean? you can connect the mixer output to an amp instead of the speakers yes.

You can either Bluetooth to the Bose or use the headphone jack or get a hdmi audio extractor

How's the audio latency watching video using Bluetooth?
There’s basically no noticeable delay long as the mixing is done after the transmission , if you try to Bluetooth mixed audio then the mic delay is very noticeable

You wouldn’t be able to do two wired and wireless , you would need an external mixer in that case

I have but it adds an extra piece of hardware and takes away from the portable nature of this setup. Though right now I switched to recommending RHM-222 cause it even comes with mics

@@arnelzablan1498 it does sound better, i did it right in this video, that black box is a mixer. Basically the Bose by itself only has Reverb effect, using a mixer i can add tunable echo effects. It does sound better but not buy a huge margin.
