They can increase the range on these car but they are not doing it because the prices will become unaffordable. But as battery prices go down they will increase the battery pack on these cars in some future versions. The acti.ev architecture enables them to do it easily. Very well thought.

Make sure the application u give to users are good.. the current xconnect or ira, poor in UX and lacks features and hangs most of the time.

Heads up for TATA, please launch it very early than your actual planned time to launch it in Nepal. There will definitely a sharp hike in taxes which will make your car more expensive than what you may expect. This will affect the consumers very much. I hope you launch it very soon in Nepal as well.

this strategy is called "binning" in engineering.
probably tata is giving mass orders for induction motors, so based on quality threshold, they have to tune down the motors for Medium range models match reliability like in long range. so now it's our personal choice between regular city drive or frequent highway user.
Seems great product, you should aggressively work and improve after sales service given by your dealers..

@@rallyworld3417 that is why you need new platers in the market . byd wanted to set plant in india that would disrupt the market. byd atto with 60 kwh Battey cost 33 lakh in india after100% tax . that means car actually cost just 16.5 lakh.
Can tata be make rear seat comfortable in all models as the recline angle is not good also adjustable headrest is a much needed feature. ready to pay a little extra price
Special thanks to Tata for using metric units of power. EVs are the opportunity for us to throw that archaic HP unit out of the window. Companies that still specify electric powertrain with HP are holding things back...yeah, I am talking abt Mahindra.

No brother. Battery efficiency decreases in extreme temperatures on either sides..
Kashmir should be fine to operate with apart from when it's extremely cold.

When you don't have ev station and a country that's not able to produce electricity for 100% households of India, it's bound to fail... Guess what happened in usa? Ford stopped all EV and changed production line to assemble hybrids... 😂
Why? Well they have too many EV in inventory without sales.. 😅
Not just ford, tesla, volkswagen are facing same problem... EV hype died in Europe, China and USA... Chinese Nio which was considered to be tesla rival is making ICE cars now 😂...
EV are really good if you drive daily and have solar installation at your house...
FYI, tesla buyers are not coming back to buy EV according to report from automobile industry...
@@THUGPUTIN electricity is not a problem in India we have free electricity in haryana. You can see tata power stations which have capacity of 1 lakh fast chargers installed and lots of new chargers are going to be installed. Indias crude import bill is 18 lakh crore per year. This is what is making India poor for 6-7 decades. If we can increase some more taxes on fuel and petrol diesel then it can save our pockets. Otherwise it is a big hole in the pocket. And it can cause even worst for the upcoming generations of our Bharat wasis

Sir nothing will change with 7000 chargers in the country people feel insecure because of the charging infrastructure, there should be a charging station every 50 to 60 km across the country. Buses are charging fully within 22 min. When the people see the charging station they will feel more secure to buy an EV. Please think of tier 3 cities.
You can't expect just one company to set up charging stations. Other companies should also do the same

Eastern india still does not have proper cherging infra. I am from Jamshedpur the mother city of Tata Motors. On NH33 which go by Jamshedpur you only have first cherger at Kharagpur on one side and Ranchi on the other side.

Need to update speaker , Twitter too. Poor sound quality. After purchasing with music system, most people feel very low quality & need to update. Same with petrol cng varient of punch & other vehicle same. Give good size of speaker, good thumb. I don't think so it is very costlier, only 2000 rupess difference between good system & current poor quality system. 😊 Check & respond.
Charing station and services is one of the main problem of EV car that's why I was sell my nexon ev lux in previous month..because of ..no customer support by services center. Car is good but ...after sell there is no value both car and customer 😢

@Tata.ev please also launch Nexon EV based on the new gen 2 acti.ev platform !! I think that in the new platform nexon body can hold more battery capacity and hence can easily provide realistic 500km range + improve the in cabin space constrains which the current old ice based nexon ev has !!

curve ev, harrier Ev and sierra Ev with fwd , rwd and awd variants, then they will focus of the ice versions.
