Why do people look for a 'purpose' based on a ship's title? "Luxury" means nothing. Take it bounty hunting like I do. One S3 shield is the same thing the Constellation and Corsair get, but no one ever sees the potential of the 400i. Two S4 pilot guns are the same thing the Zeus gets, and people take it bounty hunting. This is basically a PVE bounty hunting ship, but with a nicer interior. Shove a mule or STV inside of it and you have a bunkers runner as well. But the moment you put a Luxury tag on a ship, suddenly no one knows what to do with it.
That's a good point. I've used it once in a fight and didn't end well, but I haven't used it since. I'll try again lol I love the exterior, by far my favorite exterior.
Well i too love the 400i- i got it when it was first out with the Meridian paint, then melted but now i've got it back as missed it so much. The dilemma for me was solved as i (playing the CCU Game) got mine for 64% off so i paid about 85 for it, or equivalent to a full priced Nomad! I just did a quick hauling mission using it and it was lovely to fly and be around- certainly better than a Nomad :)
The biggest problem of this ship in my opinion is the 3x7x2 cargo grid layout. Even with 42 scu it struggles with hauling contracts above 27 scu. The uneven numbers on the dimensions leave 1 scu lines that cant fit larger containers. This is a massive drawback on trading and hauling, since you are forced to buy more small containers which means extra chores on loading unloading, and it cuts the hauling contracts that you can do with convinience to under 28scu
Thats an interesting side of it. Ive not used it for hauling missions before so wasnt aware. Uneven dimensions sounds frustrating...I'll test that out now lol

That's actually awesome! I've never really done the ccu game but know it can pay off. That makes all the difference. Good view point.
Is there a way to get the meridian paint again? It’s by far my favorite paint in the game
