Hi from Romania, I've been making this for 25 years for my family, my mother used to make it for us when I was a kid, they were the only fruits I had. I boil the sugar in water for 1-2 minutes, it lasts even 3 years if you store it in a cold place. Good job ! ❤🍒🍐🫐🍇🍏❤
Lucky you got to grow up with this type of knowledge. Do the glass jars have to be warm as well? Otherwise wouldn't they break if you pour in boiling water or does it depend on the type of jar? Also, do you know if water bathing for say 5 minutes or so, so the fruit doesn't turn to mush work as well?

Great video, not too slow. Great way to preserve fruit as you do not need a big pot to cook/heat the filled jars in, which makes it easier to do. Video gets 10 out of 10 from me. (In the UK) Well done!
I am original from the Netherlands but live in Canada. I have been canning fruits like this all the time but instead of adding sugar and hot water, I was taught to make a hot sirop with sugar and water and add the sirop to the jars. Put the lids on the jars airtight. Then put the jar in a canning pot in hot water and boil for 20 minutes. I am going to try this without boiling the jars.

I’ve never seen this method before. Exciting though to think you could have near to fresh fruit. Thank you for the lesson. I’m going to give it a try. Also could you show us how the fruit turns out after storing? Take care❤

Great tip...i live in Arizona. Bought a freeze dryer, but always looking to preserve good quality or organic foid. Very very soon we will have less food avalible. Thank you for producing this video. I think the speed was really good, as it slowed me down for a moment to learn.
Wow - here in the USA we have so many steps to handling fruit. I'm in southeast Wisconsin. I will certainly give your way a try - so simple. God bless and thank you for sharing!
