This service is the highlight of the Commonwealth year, and features readings, music and dance, including performances by Alexandra Burke, Craig David and the Melodians Steel Orchestra, as well as a reflection by world heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua. I marvel at the Queen's resilience to be able to walk that long aisle down to her seat so regally without her cane. She is such a marvel. And it was such a wonderful treat to see to marvelous celebration of all the peoples of her Commonwealth. I am thankful for this TV coverage. God Bless this wonderful Queen and her family.

The Queen did not walk down the aisle ,she walked down the nave. The aisles are down either side .The nave means the middle ,hence your navel is in your middle.

I've seen her in chch as well as Charles and Camilla, William and Catherine, Anne, Andrew and Prince Harry.
I did see her once, what a thrill!!!! I am a Californian and was in Calgary on a whim. It happened to be the season for the Stampede and she drove by in her open carriage with Philip. She waved and the crown went wild! Me, too! I found out later that Andrew was there, too - sort of. He was born a short time later.

The Queen 👑 beyond incredible at almost 94 God bless her - does anyone understand the deep honor of attending this while she still lives - who knows what the next years will bring. Near the end my heart went out to her as she sang the final hymn I think she was sniffling and she wiped a tear from her eye. She’s been through so much. She’s done so well- she is a treasure- I want to hug her and say Well Done Elizabeth you fulfilled your destiny with great glory and honorable duty - you’ve made your commonwealth proud - Amen 🙏

Elizabeth Reed I really think that the Queen actually looks better in : the bright dark blue colors that she wears, cobalt blue, navy blue, the many gem shades of red which she wears , bright kelly green, magenta, purple, and white .It is a lovely dress that she is wearing but it doesn’t go well with her complexion . Any colors that are powdery, have a yellowish tint to them or any brown in them, are not becoming to her .

I have several coffee table books about the Queen and it's amazing to see all the different shades of virtually every color she has worn, even bright orange and bright lime. But I personally prefer the pastels. Just me.

Fell sleep and when I awoke this video was on YT on the 4th day of the 70-th Jubilee. . My gosh, this is beautiful and spectacular. (In USA they want to trash up almost everything, even things formal.) We need to get back to sanity.
The entire service was SPLENDID with all the rich cultures of the Commonwealth. How lucky are we to benefit from this amazing experience established by King George VI in 1931.
At nearing 94, who would not admire her for how she does so well. I am in the U.S., even I know the words to 'God Save the Queen'. ....many people didn't know the words? The children, the little Brownies and scouts, so many...along the aisles, are lovely to see at such a ceremonial occasion. Not always the thing done.

I can’t imagine how she can walk that distance without any aid or assistance and in heels. I am only 74 with 2 artificial knees and I can’t do it.
Seeing the performance of Craig David there is just a feeling of such respect for the love and wisdom shown by the queen. This is clearly there for Harry and Megan as an loving example of how she treats them and would like for them to be treated.

The celebration of the shared history, culture and identity of the peoples of the Commonwealth is so important at this time. The speech by Boxing champion Joshua is so meaningful! We all need to remember that the entire Commonwealth stood together with the UK during WWI and WWII. The West African War Council's operation of the West African Air Reinforcement Route (comprising Ghana, Nigeria, Chad, Sudan and Egypt) enabled the assembly and delivery of over 5000 aircrafts (Blenheims, Hurricanes, Tomahawks and Spitfires) to an Airbase near Cairo, Egypt.
Audrey Quaye D-Day was something we will never forget. Many of our men didn’t get to come home. We appreciated the ground so we could bury them. Thank you

@Mark Mywords the whole point of a hereditary monarch is that the Crown passes to the next in line, no matter how popular or unpopular. I think that Prince Charles should be King for the following reasons.
A) Tradition.
B) He is in his early 70s and has been waiting all his life for the role. He is extremely well prepared and I think when his mother is no longer with us, we will want him as a strong reminder of her, knowing he understands what we expect a monarch to be like - our current Queen. I don't think he will let us down.
C) It would be a hardship to William and Catherine's young family if they suddenly were on the throne. Look how hard it was on Charles when his mother became Queen at 25. He spent too much time apart from her and suffered for it. We want our future monarchs (the Cambridge children) to be emotionally secure and to grow up at their own pace. Charles could be King for 20+ years which gives his grandchildren a chance to grow up and even get married before King William comes to the throne.

Praise To The Lord Indeed! The singing of this hymn was glorious for this special and August occasion. I believe
God Himself installed this good woman as Queen of England and faithfully kept her safe and sound all these decades. He did not let her misstep and fall, but preserved her life to this great age of 96! She knew only God could do this when she wisely said at the age of 18, that she would serve her people with all her strength whether her life was "long or "short!" No wonder God decided to give her a very long life like He did after King Solomon asked Him for wisdom! This Queen has braved a lot of the vicissitudes of life and has come out tops! She looks grateful and must be very grateful indeed!

I watched Harry walk behind his Mother's coffin....and can never apologise enough for letting that happen. I was so happy to see that Harry had found love with such a beautiful and complimentary woman. By that I mean. She makes him shine.
Such a shame it came to this. I don't know of a single newly pregnant couple who hasn't had a conversation between themselves (and close family) about who the baby might take after. It is a conversation had with love and delight at the unknown future.
Love them or loathe them. The reason the Royal family continues to resonate for some. Is the stoic adherence to tradition and protocol. They are equally loved and loathed in the gutter press, yet rarely comment. The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh have not moved with the times.... They have not embraced this time when everyone is hateful and divisive.

All of this is impressive. The trumpet fanfare is monumental, but I find the organ "incidental" music from 10.35--11.50 to be absolutely fantastic to fit as a prelude. Hats off to the organist, choreographers and Her Majesty. The British get it done every time.

Very bittersweet for Harry no doubt. It was Westminster Abbey that his mum's funeral took place in and one of his very last official engagements is happening here. No doubt lots of memories flying through his mind.
He's still gonna be out and about and back for funerals and big occasions no doubt. He has the best of both worlds

I was almost just as ill as the Queen and my 2009 Woody helped me in my first engagement since January 27th 2023; he also helped me during the memorial service for the Queen today and everyone said I looked much better than I did in January. Our memorial service for the late Queen hit me today

An undeserved trusting fanfare . The Queen was so devoted to her project to the point of blindness - at huge cost to the ordinary hard working man and woman , those who constitute the majority and keep this country just above bankruptcy . The Queen was NOT as wise nor wonderful as she has been deemed to be . Her politics were very apparent , to no disturbance of her own . The last decently effective Monarch was Edward VII , his son KGV was pretty good, KGVI didn’t live long enough and then we had The Queen , so heavily influenced also by the glory seeking Mountbattens - champagne socialists . Imo.
