How to fold old school notes

- Before there were cellphones and text messages, there were notes, passed secretly in class and dropped into lockers. Sometimes they were just hastily written and crumpled up, but sometimes they were fancier. This is one of those fancier ways. There are many different types of folds; I show you one way here. Happy folding!

I just found this, 7 years after it was posted. I wanted to pass my husband a note because he never got any in school. Now I can do it. Also found one that a friend made for me in Junior High. I'm 41 now so it was ages ago. Thanks for bringing me back.

This can be fixed. After you make the square in the middle, unfold the end triangles. Then do the next step of folding down both sides. (Now refold smaller triangles in the same direction as the unfolded bigger triangles). Then finish following the steps.

I'm absolutely fucking livid right now. I don't know what the hell is going on. I watched this like 20 times, event at 1/2 speed. I've followed every step to an absolute T. But the FINAL step isn't the same for me. There's no flap to tuck the final fold into. I've done everything identical, yet it's not ending up the same.
What makes me even more angry, is that I literally just did this like 2 days ago and it worked fine. But right now, it's not cooperating. I'm so baffled.
