Absolutely what I was searching for. When you got half way, I remembered how to do it! I've seen folded paper that my second child is messing around with and I thought, wouldn't it be fun to pass notes with her my old way. She would love it! Thank you!
This brings back sooo many memories! My notes were similar but I folded the two side edges first before I connected the diamond shape. But I love how you tucked the edges at the end in your version and how your diamond was staggered. There were so many ways to fold notes back in the day! Thank you for walking me down memory lane! this is origami (paper folding) and it's a really nice idea, if you ever redo the video try using paper that has a different color on each side ... I'm going to try this ... Happy holidays and thanks for sharing

AshFace057 :) Well, if you do give it a go, maybe take some pictures or video along the way so you can fold it back. That usually works when I'm taking apart other things at least!
Mine looks a little bit different than yours. Mine looks more like 2 separate diamonds just barely overlapping but I definitely needed this video to remember

actually, the very last step where you folded and tucked in the back parts... I did differently... the two "diamonds" in the front was the last step... hmm, I'm going to have to try this and figure out what I did! :D
okay! I figured out what I did differently! :D at 2min 20sec where you say "I think I'm doing this wrong.." I do something different. I flip the paper over and I fold the sides inward, making it very skinny and just leaving the 2 triangle ends out. then I do exactly what you do creating the 2 "diamond" shapes on the front. But by doing my step, you save yourself the trouble of tucking at the very very end like you did. both ways work :D and your way actually gives a neat design on the back.. so cool! :D

My boyfriend is currently on video chat with me while he's in a different state he wrote me a note and is "attempting" fold. I sent this to him, so I didnt have to see him struggle for so long.
+Kamilla Mammadova You just go in reverse order of putting it together. I usually opened the tucked in pieces on the front first before opening the back, but you could do it in either order.

In my elementary we ripped a pice of a paper and crumble it.
lol same and we also rolled them up and hid them in glue sticks
