Staying Cool in September in NYC

- September has arrived and I'm (trying to) stay cool here in NYC while getting some cleaning done in the apartment. I hop the train into Manhattan to visit the 9/11 memorial and walk around the city. Later on I go shopping with Wilson and we grab a sweet treat, before heading back to the apartment to watch the U.S. Open Women's Final. Thanks for watching!

That kitchen practice has been done for generations. By those who cook using an oven. I've seen my Grandma and Mom do it my whole life. I'm 43yrs old. I'm from the South too. So I don't know if it's a regional thing.

Thank you for sharing your summer day here today Monday, September 11, 2023. It is cooler here in Chicago for today by about 67 degrees with rain here for most of the day.
It is the Remembrance of 9/11 Attach and I continue to hope that all of the families how survived then and those continue are blessed. Back then at that time, my crew and I were going to start our two-day trip, but I got a lot of morning calls hang my home phone and my cell phone. All of my flight partners told me to turn on the TV and look at the news. After that, since visiting New York on several occasions, I still have not gone down to the new area of Remembrance. It is still hard for me because I continue to see the two former skyscrapers along with the other buildings that make up the old-World Trade Center neighborhood. Please stay there in New York.
Finally, from rainy cool temperature Chicago, you two while shopping with going out and about made me laugh!! So nice to see a cool couple!🙂
Today is 911 and honestly I do not watch on TV and I say a prayer and in watching this video and seeing the 911 memorial was good and help in my celebration of 911 today. A great video with beautiful pictures of NYC and the music in the video was spectacular as always. Much success to you Quincy and your relationship with Wilson and you are a very handsome couple! Love the ending with the towel and stepping into the shower! Lol! 🤣

Quincy... Your videography just gets better and better. I watched this tonight on 9-11 and it just brought tears to my eyes. I am a ham radio operator and talk to a group every morning and we all discussed where we were when we heard about the WTC attacks. That was meaningful. That day, I personally was working at Turner Broadcasting here in Atlanta, and saw it repeatedly on monitors in the control rooms since I worked a double that day. This is something etched in my memory forever.
I am so happy for you to have found a true partner. If anyone deserved it, it's you. Love your Jeep. Mine is a 1999 Wrangler and is now an official antique. She's only got 181,000 miles. Thank you for a good look at the 9/11 memorial and St. Paul's chapel. Much cooler now, weather is changing. I'm with you, Manhattan is great, but rough when owning a car. I'm in Forest Hills now and using my car. Stay in NYC with Wilson. So difficult to find someone to love. You guys are great together!

Yeah, that’s definitely in long term plans. I need to get a good camping setup like a teardrop camper to tow behind my Jeep. Won’t be able to do hotels all the time because that would get pricey. I’ll be out west next month though. Thanks 🙏🏽

Aye Quincy! you did upload today yay! Toronto felt like Miami a few days ago. I stayed in a pool thank God and under the hose outside. Cooled down now though. I get your relationship with nature. I love being in nature but also in urban city spaces so I get your dilemma. Been thinking about 9/11 too. I was in 3rd grade. Amazing Manhattan views. As a native New Yorker, I love living in NYC (Manhattan) because there is so much to do, places to go and to see. I rarely travel out to Queens or go up to the BX. However, I do travel over to Brooklyn a lot to visit my brother in Park Slope and to shop at Wegmans on Flushing Avenue. 🤣

Hi Quincy very nice and clean home, and yes it is to many hot days we have been having. And hi to your boyfriend Wilson .. and I’m going to take A month brake from UA-cam and log back on October.1st and I’m just going through very tough days as I miss my Mom everyday up in heaven at her age 57 years old 😢 and for me I have 0 friends in this world.
Have A great night Quincy and to your boyfriend Wilson and hopefully talk to you both next month and my therapist I see every week helps me and my mind is somewhere else after my Mom passed away 2017 😢 and my two brothers 2018, and 2019 and there both 33, and 37 years old.

QJ - My oven has the same fan at the back, and the same shape bottom metal. It is a "steam clean" oven...might yours be as well?
It is! I wanted to remove that stuff on the bottom before using the self clean. It made the apartment deathly hot for about 4 hours. But it’s clean now! 🙌🏽
