You made a small mistake, Yujiro never dodged lightning, that panel is just a representation of the old man's words where he said that "he always seemed to be alert, so much so that if lightning were to hit him he could dodge it" (paraphrasing)

@@YacineScales Now it doesn't imply yujiro could see the lightning and then dodge, take it more as him feeling it and intercept it and then move accordingly which doesn't mean he could react to it.
Because there is no way we get that feat to then later on have yujiro break the sound barrier with everyone being surprised.

@@conradlorgar5508 I was thoughtful about what you said. I went looking and the 3 wiki pages about him state that he is an absolute master of hand-to-hand combat. As brute as he is, he clearly knows how to fight and doesn't just go around punching around. I think the fact that your fighting style is similar to boxing, it is still a martial art, sometimes people act as if it weren't simply because it isn't something "mystical" like a Japanese art.But anyway, nothing says exactly what his fighting style is, but it is stated that he knows how to fight and is the pinnacle of hand-to-hand combat between heroes along with Bang, so I prefer to consider him on the list.

Honestly I don’t see how Baki even got that far. Many of the top-tier fighters and heroes and monsters and villains just superhumanly strong characters in one punch man can easily deflect bullets or catch bullets meaning. Bullet cannot kill that. As strong as Baki the grappler and Yujiro Honma are, last time I checked a bullet can put them down it can’t pierce their skin so they are superhuman to a degree but it’s toned down severely self. I this is going on in the back of my mind about the entire video. Although I love the basis of why the video was created and a lot of the talking points. I feel it was easily forgotten or not known that several characters in one punch man are bulletproof based upon their strength and their durability. Versus everybody in Baki the grappler can be put down by one bullet.

am i dumb but i swear none of the first 5 minutes he spoke about happened in the anime on netflix. I watch subbed & was lost about the misconseptions he was saying. I never thought any of the stuff he said & just agreed with his final thoughts

If you really want to highball yujiro and Baki, it was stated in the manga that yujiro gets stronger every day even when he's not training. Which means that he upscales from every previous feat he's done including the earthquake punch. That combined with his demon back, he could be reaching island levels of power or more.
And still, human Garou plays with him as if he is just a baby.
Okay, a toddler, maybe. You'd have to remember that on physical feats alone, Metal Bat and Tank Top Master have far far stronger attack powers. Stopping an earthquake (if the physics works because punching an earthquake should just add more power to it and cause destruction on another area which is not really "stopping" it, only way to really stop it is to absorb the energy), would be childs play for these guys.
And human Garou's flowing rock deflected Metal Bat's attack (remember that Metal Bat hits so hard that a special bat is required so it won't just break). And just like Tank Top, Yujiro's "strong" attacks will just work against him. Yujiro is just a weaker Tank Top but with more proficient martial arts. But yeah, no attack in Baki-verse can pass thru that technique if it can even deflect energy attacks.
Also, among all the characters in OPM, only Saitama has a single attack that can shutdown Garou, namely: the kick and the neck/shoulder chop. He has never been KO'd by a single attack from any other OPM character. So yeah, no one in Baki-verse can one-shot him.

Garou is basically the nerfed version of Saitama in a sense. It's just not even fair at this point.
Baki shoulr be able to take city level attacks with Xiao Lee and Aki. Although being realistic parting clouds at city level is a hell of a high ball, and demon back baki should be much stronger than base yujiro from like 5-6 years prior, they should be 7B at this point. But yeah the hanmas would be mid-high tier, in opm but not top tier until yujiro inevitably monsterizes lmfao

That mushashi thing is quite literally so put of bounds it's crazy. He kept on saying the same thing like a mad man. It didn't actually happen in that time. Even if you take all your feats and statement and make them into reality, he still gets destroyed by garou.

well to be fair, if you are going to scale them to be equal power and only consider martial arts abilities, you also have to exlude power like instantly copying moves/techniques and reading brain waves. they would only know the fighting styles they have trained coming into the fight, since if you are going to normalize them to be equal power then obviously the guy who can basically read minds is just going to win with ease

Honestly, if baki was put into the OPM world, he'd definitely end up becoming way stronger by training and learning the new martial arts available to him
I feel like all the feats in baki verse are simply not true. Yujiro punching the earth to stop the earthquake should have created a MASSIVE schokwave, obliterating the vicinities. That didn't happen. Yujiro himself was captured using tranquilizers already, in the beginning of the manga. The feat of him dodging lightning never actually happened, it was just a statement saying that he could, but he never does it. Their strikes don't have the power, don't have the same impact as one punch man strikes. In OPM we see shockwaves being created, the ground gets destroyed, heck, Suiryu broke the arena in half with a knife hand strike. Why are we even pretending charcaters from baki are really anything else than superhuman? Saying baki could compete with Suiryu was overkill to me. I agree with the lower end martial artists, but thats where it stops making sense.
Yujiros dad fought off the US military, he killed 2000 soldiers with 1 move. Not large town level
He fought off a couple of soldiers and armored vehicles. Never fought planes, ships, never tanked nukes, and never tanked anything like intercontinental missiles. The US won't nuke yujiro because he lives in big cities.

Nay. The level gap in Baki between the top tier characters and normal people is way smaller than that in OPM. Say, if we assume a barehanded normal grown man in both comics has an equal power score of 5, a first tier character(Oliva) in Baki has a power score of about 500, which equals that of a second tier character in OPM(Heavy Tank Loincloth,HTL). Yujiro can hardly knockout Oliva in one punch, so his score would not surpass 5,000. Yet HTL was humbled by one strike of human Garou. Thus, Yujiro can't be stronger than human Garou. Yet monster Garou is like 10 times stronger than human Garou, and Cosmic Garou is at least 10 times stronger than monster Garou. In this scenario, the top tier characters(Blast, Boros, Cosmic Garou) in OPM would be more than 100 times stronger than that in Baki. And as we all know, the power score of Saitama is +∞
