That kicking back stuff can be a little scary. I had a T140 that liked to kick back when I first got it. It wasn't like it was going to toss me over the handlebars, but it seems like it could tweak your knee if you're not careful. That 350 bathtub Triumph is awesome. It seems like it's overly sensitive to flooding, which makes for a nice easy one kick starter if you know the correct procedure. I've found that once they're flooded you have to walk away for a bitI (or take out the plugs and kick it through a bunch)...then still walk away for a few minutes. I'm surprised all those kicks with the ignition off didn't flood it.
Not necessarily. It never gets really cold here in Phoenix. The bike is in the state of, "if it runs really nicely, don't mess with it." We will do a test ride when we get the new battery.
Great work, having been grown up in the sixties these bikes can be temperamental and stubborn.
triumph 21 and the lovely 6v electrics head lamp switch can be fun on them !
The 3TA and the Tiger 90 were great 350cc bikes. Quick and nimble.

So what solved the problem with the warm start in the previous video???
When I first started kicking I hadn't turned the ignition on.
Once the ignition was on it started ight away.
If it doesn't need the carb tickling, doess it mean the carb is set too rich??

Why is the front brake cable 2 feet too long?
Brake cable is way too long but works and is out of scope for this repair effort.
