I don't know yet if Wander will continue the game, but I'm calling it now.
The distress call was from you in the future. We have a Mobious Strip (an unending spiraling circle) and the Oureborus System (a snake biting its own tail). It seems a little on the nose and I do hope there'll be a twist I'm not seeing coming, but for now, this is my guess.
Möbius strip has a twist, so there's that 😅
Love the unique style, like chibi Eldrich horror.
i would say it has a pixary look to it
Reminds me of an old game called 'Abuse'.
Hope you're gonna continue this game, I'm liking it more than necessary
I enjoyed this, thank you! Will have the game on my wishlist as I am a sucker for metroidvania.
As metroidvania dev i think about creating special large monster that randomly lure on background on open locations (like streets or park) and if it's spotted player at this moments he disappear, to only after several seconds rush in location and start chase player. Like nemesis, but which can be avoided if you are careful.
Will you (Wanderbot) keep playing & posting this? I quite enjoyed watching/listening to this one.
I think cyberpunk must have some level of human modification and/or android types.
I think not necessarily it's to do with the like neon future stuff? With people living not great lives but filled with fancy tech and everything and everyone is connected.
Try Little Orpheus, made by the Chinese room. More walking sim than most but amazing visuals with parallax back and foregrounds, voice over narration and a fun story
I'm playing it on Legion Go and so far loving it. More fun than playing it on my PS5 and xBox Series X.
Legion Go is made for these kind of games. (the new prince of persia, soulstorm, etc)
I think Blade Runner is Cyber-Noir, while these can mash together rather seamlessly sometimes, I struggle to find much Punk in Blade Runner to call it Cyber-Punk
This looks amazing!
Cyberpunk is almost always a NEAR future (within 20-50 years) usually featuring cybernetic human modification, that has caused a divide in Societal hierarchy, and can focus on themes of the morality or said modification as well as the question of how human do we remain when we replace organics with machine .
Fun fact: around 70% of our current human genome is viral in origin.
If you compared to a human from cave man times 70% of our current DNA strain wouldn't be there. And one of these viruses that have incorporated into our DNA is responsible for humans ability to remember and therefore learn. It's why we are smarter than other animals.
Im still trying to find that one laser tower defense game u played
Got a couple of hours out of it. But I wont finish it. Finding my way around is too much of a pain.
The "toy-ish" vibe to it is very similar to Astroneer.
Is it just me, or are those lights parallaxing WAY to much?
Auto pickup would be nice
Tumhis game is cool but I don't see a huge arsenal of weaponsm display or upgrade in suits that would have made it spectacular to play
What was that green pixelation in the beginning of this video?
Anyone remember WAKING MARS ?
21:40 spore
The little guy game characters from the Scrap Mechanic game gave up on it ever getting done and moved to this game...........
first
available on Steam?! gotta try this one
