I still never got through the entire speech. I'd tear up so much and would pause it way too many times. I just cant 😢 When MJ starts crying, it's over for me. Poor baby, I miss him ❤
Certain things trigger me in tears because MJ was a true gem and a national treasure to pop culture and music history. He was the top, he had more #1's than other artists, sold out shows. And turn around on his off time and travel to less fortunate countries with children in need, MJ never turned a blind eye. He gave more back than just his community but to the world, Michael Jackson contributed so much and his efforts were astonishing.
I agree with everything you said here. He certainly was a national treasure- miss him so much!
He wasn't just the hardest working man in showbiz, he was a saint because he was and still the most well respected, the most loved and a true icon because he spread love within his music and his humanity. Like he said "it doesn't matter if you're black or white" but I love you, he never had a disrespectful bone. The reason I'm still very sentimental over MJ's passing, I've met him twice (83) "my 7th bday" and (2000) " worked on his 'invinsible' album". He remembered me and that had to be the best month in my entire life. I was 23yrs old at the time, so I hold that memory very close to my heart. Besides working with him, he became a friend, a brother and a mentor in my life. I miss his hugs because at the end of the day he would hug everyone a great day, he was a very sweet guy.

Omg this was so beautiful when I saw this mann I was 18 years old and pregnant with my first child now I really feel old lol im 47 years old now and this brought back so many memories because I have been over heels for Michael since I was six years old when I saw him perform Billie jean on television and the moonwalk was every thing. And I remember I cried around that time when he got burned from the Pepsi commercial omg I thought he wasn't going to be ok and I still remember the exact words my mother told me when they showed him being carried in the gurney with his glove still on and waving my mother said" Look baby you see hes going to be okay" omg I will forever remember those words because he is okay because even though he's not here in human form he is all around us in spirit he said himself our spirit never dies no one can't ever hurt him no more. I will always remember and love Michael.

Oh my Gosh I cried when they showed her playing patty cakes with MJ and then hugging him. I just cried. Over the years I learned how she was his little shadow. Look how out of all the Js she was the other Breakout Artist in the family. And she had to work hard especially being a woman, her figure, MJ was a hunger striker being the only the he was allowed to control. And correct me if I'm wrong, but Janet has a soft voice. And super stardom is reserved for strong voices ala Patti Labelle, Celine Dion, Bette Midler, Barbara Streisand, Diana Ross. I can only attribute that to hard work and perserverence. Which, getting back to Michael, was almost totally inspired by watching her brother Michael. I heard her say she held back on her musical debut because she wanted to stand on her own and didn't want people to say she got where she was (THE TOP!??) because her brother is MJ. I noticed she didn't say l the J5, Js or my family, she said Michael! I can hardly watch or hear Michael speak. He makes me want to cry. All I see is the innocence in his eyes and the pain. All for what because he has the God gene and was touched by God to be a gift for us and the world treated him as it does prophets and Jesus The Christ himself. The devil is so jealous! And the devil himself made MJ a target. :(..... And the devil inside people targeted his money, reputation, liberty, peace of mind and persona. But listen to his soft voice say I have rhinoceros skin, alligator skin. I know he did because he produced and planned and perfected and performed to the last day.

Did you see how his eyes shifted and his voice cracked when he talked about the sick and deprived children. He truly connected to that. TRULY connected to them. I understand based on how his life turned out up to this point, how those children could have such an impact on him. The deprivation he felt as a kid he saw in them

I'm always moved by everything he says does he's the kindest sweetest man ever the most humble sweetheart and I miss him so much in my opinion still was incredibly sexy up until he passed away he just was a very attractive you're very attractive African American man and I love him for that I love him and I miss him so much. And I watch him everyday and when I mean everyday I mean every day I watch several video speeches anything Michael I'm watching it I love him very much I met him one time and he had such soft hands I remember holding his hand and the things he said were so kind and loving I never forget it and I've always watched him since I was little like 2 years old my mom told me that I was always glued to the screen watching his performances and then as I got older I had everything Michael Jackson like pillowcases blankets posters pencils erasers anything you can think of I had it I remember watching that video in the closet and being like so upset it's funny now he had no interest in her Naomi Campbell he liked Shawna and other women too but I just remembered being so upset because she was touching him but um I still loved it because it was Michael and everything Michael I watched him at all times.....He is and will always be in my heart and soul and I love him forever. If he could only hear me I would tell him Michael I love you with all my heart thank you for all the wonderful things you did for the world I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to know you and the whole world to know you and the impact you had on everyone to this day you are still loved by millions possibly billions your legacy will always remain but to me you're more than just Michael Jackson You Are a Human Being that has feelings and did not deserve what the media put you through and some of the people and I love you for being an African American very talented and sexy as heck thank you for sharing your music your love your God given talents for the world to appreciate and enjoy and just remember people still love you to this day and we all miss you so much. I couldn't agree with you more, however, I truly believe he looked at life with such wonder like a child and he tried to express it in so many ways, whether through his amazing music, performances, etc. but no one heard him at times! Finally, I think he got so tired of trying to convey his message over, and over, when to any true empath, or believer in God, could see it very clearly! Most people are so greedy, and evil that they couldn't believe that someone could be that pure, and giving without a motive, because that is how they think! He truly was a gift from God, and his true motive was love, and sharing through his amazing art to make people happy, and to serve others! When it aired, I recorded it on VHS and watched it over and over and over (Also the Oprah -boo, like you said lol- interview and Super Bowl performance from the same time). It’s such an important moment in history. So many people and entities mentioned in this clip have turned their backs and have recently attempted to rewrite history in regards to Michael. He was at the peak of his career at this moment and still rising. Yet people will have you believe he didn’t do anything significant since Thriller or that somehow the Thriller era was the pinnacle and ending of his success and relevance in the world. Thank you for bringing this moment to light and keeping the truth alive!! I don’t think I’ve seen a single other UA-camr react to this. Thank God i’m old enough to have seen all of this in real time! It was definitely magical to see! I remember covering every inch of my bedroom with posters and memorabilia after waiting for the next magazine publication that featured the newest MJ poster! I remember being so angry when he showed up with Brooke Shields at the award show, bcuz Michael Jackson was mine and mine only! 🤗 He got me thru my pre-teen and teenage years! Remembering this day…the 25th of June…not only for the day he passed away but for how much this one man influenced the world and gave so much to humanity in general! I really am at work watching this now tearing up!!!!! Michael Jackson impacted my life so much as a song writer and i honestly tear up knowing his heart and soul was so damn pure and to most that seemed strange!!!! Like he was such a loving person that people found it strange and wanted to poke at the bear so many times....then he lashes out in his own way and they look buck eyed. I just thank God for his presence, although I never seen him in person I thank God I got to know him on stage and as a true God given human being.

I know this is old and you probably won't see this, you and I agree on everything from the deep meaning of his song's and how he views the world, I do believe because he had a very difficult childhood he turned it into a positive outlook on life and was true to himself, he set out to change children's lives and he did in the most positive way by opening his home and letting terminally ill children enjoy the time they had to ride all of the rides, swim, play with animals, I've never in my lifetime of almost 52 year's seen one amazing, wonderful man change lives and make people see that there is still good when he was involved ❤️ Michael broke barriers for the African American artist to succeed and I think he's wonderful for doing that, the humanitarian award, genius book, etc etc Michael Jackson will always be the only and best artist who ever lived, he's still the absolute best to me which is why I love him so very much and still have tremendous respect for him and his children, they're so successful and I wish them many more year's of the best ❤ love the Jackson family and oh I can't wait for the movie Michael to come out after my birthday next year, 8 day's after!! I'm so excited 😊 ❤
