The best looking color palette I’ve seen out of the similar videos I’ve watched.

Ucp aka acu is D.U.M.B. and is for indoor use or gravel pits just apple green on it with a pinch of salt and vinegar works great for the spring/summer in PA

I may have just missed it but did you use any salt or vinegar in it?

Vinegar? -- yes for the chemical process to dye. No salt is needed.

Beautiful job! It appears the synth dye also colored the Fastex hardware. When I tried dyeing my stuff it barely touched them. Next time I will leave it longer in the dye.

Only for older, cheaper, surplus gear? Do you think the boiling 200° - 212°F water breaks down the structure of that nylon gear a lot quicker than normal? That's the only thing I might worry about in this process. Would you recommend this same process with newer, higher-end, web gear or would you be more worried about prematurely degrading the structure of the nylon with the boiling water? 🤔

Good points. Always side on being cautious. However, experimentation can produce exceptional results! High end web gear should not need any such treatment. Buy exactly what you need. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions and recommendations.

WHY would you dye camo to a solid color?

Iam old school. If it ain't Woodland camo -- It ain't camo! LOL Trading one color and pattern for something different and more useable. This is the easiest way without buying something specific and custom made and avoiding that $$$ investment.

Some bags are brown color but the ones I wanted green are that special green and very usable. All went well.
