This is why rudiments are so important. Once you can fluently play multiple rudiments well they begin to naturally show up in your playing, but often drummers have difficulty in applying rudiments to the set. In this lesson I break down how to apply the inverted paradidle in a groove. This linear groove is extremely fun to play and will expand your creativity with rudiment application!

Sweet! You’re keeping me busy!
You are my favorite. No BS, clearly explained, solid teaching method, quick hits of dry wit, and obvious passion. Awesome drummer, brilliant professor. Thank you E Fish!
Really appreciate that man! Thank you 🙏🏼
Inverted paradiddle is my new fave. Puts the backbeat in the groove so easy. This one's going directly into rotation.
One of your linear fills would sound so badass with that groove. Dude I've learned so much grooving beats from you
Thx for a quick, great lesson. 😊
You are a very great player! Thanks for the lesson.
Awesome lesson, thank you!
i gotta tell ya..i watch a lot of drumming videos...i don't see many of them on inverted paradiddles and, i must confess, it's somewhat intimidating at first...but you break it down in a great way..and it's a very unique groove..that you make seem easy..thanks for what you do..it's really appreciated
Your welcome Joseph, and I appreciate that, thank you for commenting. ✌🏼
Great Ride. What kind of Byzance is that. Snare is ridicules too. What is that. Love the lesson.
Great stuff Eric! I'm surprised you don't have more subscribers than you do! Only a matter of time before Drumeo hits you up. Keep up the good work Dude.
Thank you Robert! UA-cam algorithm has definitely changed… I think around 8-10 years ago it was much easier to get views/subs in this niche.
I'm digging this!! Love how you explain and teach something that seems difficult on the surface in a simple way. You're a natural teacher dude.
That’s the biggest compliment as a drum teacher. Thank you! 🙏🏼

Love it, Eric! Btw, couldn't do the middle finger hold from your training initially but after a few months, I went back and it's indeed a game changer. Thanks for everything!

Are you the guy on the bills that’s a drummer?
Grooves better at 80bpm
“ faster than 120 and the beat doesn’t sound right”
Translation.
that’s as fast as I can play it, I get sloppy after that and I’ll lose subscribers.
Lol
Just kidding buddy! great video, as usual.
Lol! Good one Jim 😆
Truthfully speed isn’t always the goal!
Great lesson! Thank you.
