Man, this is dope! I love how J-Rod is collaborating with this channel! The paradiddle-diddle is my favorite rudiment and really opened up my playing to advanced concepts. Great video!
Your playing is so next level. I can't keep up! Its amazing to see a professional as highly skilled as you breaking down the seemingly impossible to almost human levels of 'do-able'. All in, you seriously rock the drum kit.
For whatever reason, I actually found this a hell of a lot easier to understand. I think it was just quicker and he didnt take 5 hours to break down 3 notes. It was just right to the point. Amazing work man and thanks for the lesson! 🤟
thank you very much. i played drums before-was lil below average as i was lacking chops, had no practice partner. am in my 40s, i understand what your doing-if i practice, its not to late?
Forgive me for basic question, but when you are doing those paradiddlediddle rolls on the snare at your top speed, are you still controlling the double with the Moeller technique or are you just bouncing it and pinching the fulcrum point? Thanks
Thanks for the love guys! 🙏🏽💯
Great lesson, thank you!
It's crazy no one is mentioning how ridiculously the drums are tuned and sounds incredible. SHEEESH!!! 🎼🤘🏼🥁🎧
Hi
Man your set sounds fantastic!!!! Please do a video on how you got your sound and what mics etc! Those toms just siiiiiiing!!!!
Bro you just became one of my new faves!!! Fantastic style and musicality!!! JRod!!
So many great ideas. Thank you. Even just displacing the paradiddle-diddle to the e of 1 is new as I usually play those starting on a beat.

Do he start on ah of 1 then as 6 6 6 grouping?if I am wrong please correct or help with pdf
Begins on the "& of 2". 32nd notes!
So he end the fill on “and” of 4?
@@johnjamatia9188 the "a" of 4... He switches over to 16th notes after the LRL between the hi hat and snare drum
@@180drums yes, exactly. I wrote “and”instead of ah. Thank you once again for your time and for been so kind in answering my dumb question 😁✌️
