There are more, I guess, like "Sanda" : "to Fight" "Nara" / "Narak" : "Country"/"State" (like Sanskrit Nagaram: "City") and many more, see more details in Bahador Alast channel, just search .
Father is 100% same in both Korean and Tamil. We mostly use "Appa" however if you go into southern part of TN, you would notice Appa is called as "Appachi/Appaji" which is what she said! In olden days, most of them will not use Appa, they use Appachi only.
Very interesting! There is a mythical legend my ancestor traveled from a far land with her servants to Korea to marry a King. Some say she could be from South Asia.
I'm Korean and my wife is Malayali. So, I'm familiar with both. The Thai Korean teacher is making a mistake. umma and appa are not really impolite in Korean. They would better be described as informal. The English translations wouldn't be Mother and Father but rather, mommy and daddy. They would only be impolite for adults to use in public or if your parents are in a bad mood.
Grammar and word order do not change easily, but Tamil and Korean have similar grammar and word order. I think Indus and Sumerian are also similar to Tamil. If you go back to ancient times, all languages become similar. I think Korean is a language that has not changed since ancient times. Koreans have maintained their language and culture for 5,000 years. The Korean language is completely different from Chinese.

Korean and Tamil are similar language because many years ago Tamilnadu trending with Korea and many Tamil princess getting married with Korean kings
Dangshin means Thangal தங்கள்
In some part of Tamilnadu, people call their father- Apuiji or Apuchi.
In Korean for I is Na
You: in Korean Thanchi and in Tamil also thaangal.

Why she don’t say enough. Korean say na indicating myself along with juh. Also, in southern part of korea, we use Ni instead of Neo.

What they meant by impolite means "casual". What is casual between friends could be considered impolite if it's used to a stranger.
8:20 only ladies will give expression like that while they say nijamava(really)

Very interesting! There is a mythical legend my ancestor traveled from a far land with her servants to Korea to marry a King. Some say she could be from South Asia.
Yeah! She is from Tamil Nadu which is a state in current India.
