      The reason why Tamil culture had such a massive impact is due to the fact that the Chola Empire under King Rajendra Chola I had developed an extensive maritime trade network across Southeast Asia and maritime trade routes extending all the way north to Mainland China and Korea. As the Cholas were the first to develop Maritime trade in the Southern Indian regions, they have more influence in the Asian Sphere, compared to other empires which did it later on.

    • @KKomalShashank
      @KKomalShashank 10 місяців тому +11

      Well, that's because the Chola Empire extended all over Southeast Asia. Korea is further away in the Far East. The proper explanation is still very unclear in Korea's case, unlike other countries in Southeast Asia.

      Pandiyan dynasty is the ancient and powerful maritime traders 2000 years ago. Indian ocean, bay of Bengal, arabic sea all are borders of pandiyan kingdom. Cholan dynasty came later in the maritime routes. Don't mislead our history just 1000 years old referring rajendra chola 1st. We are more ancient than that.

      @@gamesong6600Chola kings and some descendants followed Buddhism in the end and became small rajputs and weak as they adopted peace. They also spoke Tamil and Sanskrit. Just check name of their Airport it's name is subarnabhoomi Airport, which has same meaning in Tamil and Sanskrit. Even present day Bihar, UP and Orissa were ruled by Tamil kings Cholas and Pandyas. Cholas ruled till Ganges and beyond, hence named Gangai Kondan. There is a Lord Shiva temple to commemorate this named as "Gangai Konda Cholapuram".
      In all over South East Asia, you can see that there will be one Tamil kings branch in their clan hierarchy.
      Singapore name itself means (Singam + Oor = Singapore. Check history of Indonesia islands and Hinduism there, it was spread by Tamil kings. Check Sumatra Island history in Malay historical books. Also, you will find all kings and sultans in Malaysia have Raja title to them. If you drag back all royal families in South East Asia, there will be a mix of some Tamil dynasty descendents in their timeline. You can find Tamil in Korean language as well, because Korean Queen who ruled there travelled from present day India and of Tamil descent. There is also a funny joke among Koreans that if a newborn baby is not fair they will say that baby might have had Tamil queens genetical inheritance.

    Since sanskrit & tamiz are 2 of the oldest language on the earth, the vocabulary of these language surely have surpassed other languages. So in my theory Koreans may not have named everything out there & when the princess went there & may already have known what certain objects & things were in her language she nay have introduced to them & they learned it that way & adjusted it to their pronunciation & when a princess marry they do not go alone but a whole army of servants also accompany them and create a ecosystem there.
    But didn't theh had word for butt in their korean 😂that they had to adopt this, as it may have been easier than the korean word.

      Surprisingly many Tamilians use the Hindi slang word for butt without knowing its real meaning for a new meaning like "irritating" these days. It becomes an issue when they use it with Hindi-speaking folks, unaware, creating more problems/distance.
