Yea this is what I really love about tent. The fact that you can hide in the shield to prevent damage makes short range weapons able to walk forward much more freely than usual.
It's also kinda funny, because your opponents have to assess really quick whether there is a carbon or something behind the shield before choosing to attack or ignore it every single time it launches
