@@Treegrow131I think we’re likely to see the stamper nerfs come to this basically. Lower efficiency would probably gate keep it from general meta but I think it will still be “viable” for one tricks.
@@blank_ivysaurI feel like the devs already accounted for this as they didn't want a repeat of launch Stamper. Decavitator has higher ink consumption than Stamper, less range than Wiper, and a ton of startup lag on its charged slash. It's already got weaknesses that can be played around.

Both these weapons are strong in turf war too

Yeah the decavitator is such a fun weapon I have mint at 4 stars and I’m currently trying to get charcoal at 4 stars i love these swords so much and as a Splatana main it was kinda easy to get the hang of it but I did need to change my gear up a bit for the weapon
I've always wanted to do casual competitive Splatoon with people I can actually communicate and bond with, it looks so much more fun than dragging randos through endless C rank.
In Splatoon 2, I proudly crawled my way to A rank Towers and Rainmaker solo, but there's something something different about 3 that just... Beats you down.

As the local Bamboozler Main, I both hate this weapon (Hitbox is stupid) and love it, because watching the hope drain from a Decavitator's eyes as they realize they are stuck in a half-second long animation moving in a linear path as I ready the Pewpew is the most satisfying thing ever. Very fun to cancel them lmao.

also you are not carried, that shark on bluefin at 8:47 was good positioning and you played around your weapons strengths while nullifying it's weaknesses, overall just good positioning

I dont think I'm good enough for this weapon. Sometimes I try and dash slash and just stand still
Practice and u will get better with the weapon that’s what u should do for any weapon u want to try and main u practice more and more and learn from ur mistakes of when u are losing it always helps to watch ur own replays cause trust me as a splatana main I did struggle a bit with these swords but once u get the hang of it this weapon is so aggressive and so much fun I have mint at 4 stars and I almost have charcoal at 4 stars
