They do not call registries do not work on the national or state level. I’ve tried multiple times and still continue to get unsolicited Medicare calls. They never stop.
@Bridgett0913 Did you try reporting them on the federal gov't website? reporting the name and info? If they investigate this and get caught, there are HUGE fines to pay. Next time they call you, get their info; record what they say, and report it!
They are getting other people's phone numbers and calling under a personal name ... Like .. James Schrack, Dale Bates .. Ken Mc Heyard so how do u stop those calls
@tpm92 If you have caller ID, get the Name as it appears and number, you can report this. What you are referring is spoofing. They are grabbing local numbers and making it look like it is not a spam call. You file the complaint with the FFC. NOTE: You must FIRST register on the Do Not Call list. If you continue to get calls, then file a complaint. If you have not registered with the Do Not Call list, I don't think they will do a thing about it. website is here: consumercomplaints.fcc.gov/hc/en-us/articles/115002234203-Unwanted-Calls-Texts-Phone
I'm sorry, but I have to correct you. First thing is that "do not call" list. THAT is where the scammers get a list of good numbers to call! How naive can you be?? Second thing is that many local operators do not consult that list before calling. Some examples are pavers (the fly-by-night kind), chimney sweeps, roofers, and others. They just start calling everybody they can in a neighborhood they are working in trying to drum up business. Third thing is DON'T waste your time filing a complaint. They do NOTHING to stop the unwanted callers from calling. Fines are a JOKE, and are rarely, if ever, levied and almost NEVER collected. Fourth thing is that the FCC has NO jurisdiction over the overseas call centers - like the majority of the ones in India. Your video amounts to a 10 minute waste of my time. Information you are giving is as current as big wheel bicycles and high button shoes. This information is so old that it already has great grandchildren.
Sorry; I think you got some bad info as well; if you report the number, the calls should stop. If they don't and you report them, they will be fined $10k. True true! I've done it in my office... was getting TONS of unsolicited calls about helping business with taxes. Registered the # and calls stopped. The gov't has a website for the sole purpose of getting on the Do Not Call list. Watch this...ua-cam.com/video/xZzQV_YPCAM/v-deo.html
@nancylyon-gray3499 Ha ha! I haven't ventured down that rabbit hole yet, but unfortunately, have been down a few others! 😉 Glad you found me... hope you enjoy the future videos! Thanks for watching...My next one is probably going to cover all the Preventive services under Medicare. Stay tuned!
@@cbhealthinsurance3621 I think I'm going to try to gather your videos and share them on my FaceBook page. We are 64 nearing 65. My entire class of friends from kindergarten to HS graduation. We all need this help. Thank you so much. I took copious notes.
Nothing stops the calls. .
