The way Blake Lively completely ignored the interviewer made me uncomfortable for the interviewer. Lively knew what she was doing. She was purposely being mean. I have no respect for someone that would treat another person in such a rude manner.

She announced her pregnancy on multiple platforms, wore a dress that clearly shows she’s pregnant, and then takes compliments and well wishes as an offensive comment on her being “fat”. No Blake, that’s you projecting.
I don't think she took the comment as her being fat. Blake has always been pretty open about the fact that she doesn't feel that people should ever comment on women's bodies regardless pregnant or not. And while I do agree with that sentiment I think she handled this with no class and super inappropriately given the innocent nature of the compliment and context

It seems like she's more busy trying to be funny and look good to the point where she doesn't realise how insensitive, frivolous or mean some of her comments can be, and it's no excuse to say it's "humour". It doesn't seem like humour to me when others aren't laughing with you, but it seems like you're laughing at them.

There is no doubt that Blake Lively has a privileged life. She has money, fame, a wonderful career, children and a husband who appears to adore her. In the past I was not really a fan and then I started to change my mind about her because Blake and Ryan have been very generous in supporting many difference charities. Perhaps Ryan is generous on his own and Blake is just along for the ride as it appears that this woman does not have much respect for others and continues to display a "cringe worthy" attitude.

I've never paid much attention to her but her recent fame for mean girl moments has come up on my feed a few times and in every interview, whether from 20 years ago or last week, I wonder where the media training is. There's been no improvement with her interview skills, making me agree with you that it's a choice and she's ignoring everyone, probably from professionals to her loved ones, that has given her tips on how not to come off as a mean girl.

Ridiculing and bullying Princess Katherine. Fluffing up a film about DVA and making everything about her speaks volumes about BL as a person.
Princess Kate is pure elegance, compassionate and has more class in her small pinky, than a Hollywood wanna be who is so superficial and who treats people badly...very sad to see a woman treat another woman like that...

I think she's merely making mistakes in the interviews. She's an actress, not a psychologist or domestic violence counselor. I get her point about people discussing these issues with her. What's she supposed to do? Give them her phone number? She already did a great thing for humanity by acting in a film about dv, a film with a deep theme. Thank you, Blake. It's not her life's calling to counsel. These interview errors don't prove she's a bad person or "mean girl." She's done her part by acting, which is a lot more than most of us have done for dv.
