Worth noting that when they mentioned submarines, the US Navy has 71 nuclear powered subs, meaning they can run indefinitely, do not need to surface, operate at higher speeds for far longer, and their range is only limited by the need to resupply for food for the crew. China has 3 nuclear powered subs. The US Navy and Air Force would currently shred China's Air Force and Navy.

United States Air Force mission will want to keep the Navy Forces floated up instead dragging it down, where People's Republic of China have way overpowered Navy Forces or Arm Forces which can drag the Air Forces down. Overall United States Arm Forces on the ground are more capable to carry more nuclear warheads and technological advantages than People's Republic of China, because they are mostly old people who are working for the services than their are younger generations of Arm Military Defenses from United States National Forces build-up in future.

The Abrams is a great tank, but they did have losses in battle.
In Desert Storm 2 M1s were destroyed by their crews after sustaining unrepairable damage.
In OIF 19 total M1s were destroyed: 7 by ATM and ATGM, 5 by their crews due to damage, 2 by enemy tanks and 5 by mines.
Further 11 M1s over all of service history were destroyed by friendly fire, but that doesn't count.

The latest buzz with the Chinese missiles isn't their speed, the US has missiles that meets or exceeds those speeds. As well as the defenses to counter them. The trouble with these new Chinese missiles is that they DO NOT leave the atmosphere, that renders current known US defenses obsolete.
As for the submarines, the US holds a clear advantage. The video did not break the submarine types down - the overwhelming majority of Chinese subs are diesel. So damn loud that it's no trouble at all to track them.
All US submarines are nuclear. Have been since 1990. Just wanted to add that to illustrate that Chinese military tech is more than 30 years behind the US. Aside with their North Korean levels of obsession with missile tech. Resting your military tech on a single piece of hardware makes for a quite brittle power.

A few things are kind of misleading or glossed over.
    China's 2 aircraft carriers:
Only 1 is operational and uses a ski jump. This means the planes must decrease the amount of fuel and armaments they can launch with. Also, the J-15, their "advanced" carrier plane had had multiple crashes and deaths, The programs has been suspended numerous times and only pressure from the top political leadership has kept the program running.
    Stealth program:
Their stealth fighter has to use an engines purchased from Russia, that was designed for a Russian plane. This means that, while the Chinese plane will now fly, it is by no means stealthy, as only an integrated engine design for the specific aircraft, helps an airframe meet the strict parameters to achieve stealth operation.
    Nuclear Submarine Fleet:
China has 3. Meaning all others are of the much older diesel designs. (America has 71)
    Tanks:
The Chinese have 1200 new MBTs. The 98/99 series. All the rest are old Chinese or Russian designs from the 60's.

Yeah, people say they got more numbers, civilian and active military, without a doubt. Those numbers don’t matter, we aren’t a country that borders them on land, they can’t move them across the pacific here. Tray to get across the pacific, while being contested by the US Navy and Air Force. They can’t, they’d all be sent to the bottom before they got a 1/3 way across. Plus we are way more mechanized, so when it did come to ground combat, we have more/better protection, for our military as a whole compared to them, can move farther and faster, and have the logistics to support global conflict, let alone close to our country. As it stands, with our equipment, which is generally better across the board, the ability to support it, and how much extra we have, truly global reach. And virtually unending conflict and experience in said combat, since we were a colony. A huge amount of the most important in the begging of the modern to current times of warfare, we are unparalleled in pure combat power and ability. Ask them how well they are doing with their coal problems and rolling blackouts…they, or the whole world wouldn’t stand a snowballs chance in hell in all our war, we don’t even need to use nukes to win, now some how, of the entire world gained the sea lift capacity and air power/aerial refueling to reach us in coordinated attack against our bases around the world and the US herself, we could still win, with the population and resorting to nuking the major landing sites on our coasts. But that’d be the craziest, world gone to shit scenario, so it wouldn’t matter at that point anyways.

A top priority of U.S. military doctrine has been to rule the air since the second world war. A huge chunk of our airpower can be used as airborne artillery (fighter/ bomber multi role aircraft, and dedicated ground attack aircraft), hence the lower number of ground based artillery units. Consider also that we currently have the largest number of aircraft carriers in the world, supported by the largest, and most advanced fleet on the ocean. At last count we have 11 active full size carriers, with two more under construction, that carry an average of 64 planes each. There are also 8 amphibious support ships which carry additional aircraft, as well as the Marine expeditionary forces.

Something interesting to think about when considering conflict with China is force integration. China's military is still currently highly segmented, with departments not cooperating in a battle context. The US military forces all work very closely with each other to coordinate actions to work as a single cohesive force towards an objective, even our hardware assets talk to each other for targeting and recon to give our strikes ungodly over the horizon capability.
Those hypersonic missiles are a problem though. If Chinese satellites can see our carriers, a saturation strike would overwhelm the limited kinetic kill interceptor missiles on our ships right now. So unless we can completely blind their targeting we very well could lose some invaluable ships.
Until China decides to invade Taiwan it's not going to come to war though. But I don't know if the US can sit it out when they do invade Taiwan, so that is going to be a really bad time for the world.

These numbers are very skewed and don't reflect the reality of each countries military readiness. For example, tanks. While China may overwhelmingly outnumber the USA in tank numbers, the vast majority of them are outdated Soviet-style tanks that can't begin to compete with an Abrams. Also, while the Chinese military may field more personnel, an American soldier is better trained and equipped than an equivalent Chinese counterpart.

It was asked how can a physical object crazily go 5 times the speed of sound. Five times speed of sound is around 3836 mph (miles per hour). For comparison though, consider that meteors entering our atmosphere, no matter its size, can go 10000 to 60000 mph, or more. That speed was of course built up traveling through space for vast distances & via the gravity wells induced in our Sol system, most of it by Sol itself.

The aforementioned "meteors entering our atmosphere, no matter its size" can still potentially go 10-20 times faster than that hypersonic missile moving at 5[c], assuming it doesn't fully break up in the ionosphere due to its kinetic energy, once it hits a higher density than a void.
