      Was just watching your video here and wanted to give an imo on where it could be located , I actually had commented a many months back on someone’s channel,”unsure who’s “ but I had a dream “which was very odd” because I do not dream that much and when I do they are very real and vivid, Anyways In my dream I saw a barn or cabin that sat next to a hill side and was high weeds or what looked similar to wheat, I did not see a vehicle but I seen three people walking back from the barn/cabin, 2 men 1 female, the femal was behind the other two ,..Anyways when I watched your video , That Dream immediately came to my mind as you were driving up that rd and I see the wheat like weeds and also what look like a red barn…Can you do another view of it like the other side , where maybe the rd or driveway goes into that barn? Lol, please don’t think I’m crazy, I had that dream outta nowhere and it was saying that was where weapon was hid, I could also see plain as day , trees , that were on each side of the as they were leaving , but no trees around location of the barn, also seen what looked like a fog or a very heavy mist …Idk it was a crazy dream and It had totally left my mind until I saw this video, And what you said about the timing make so much since…

    Another well thought out video Gray. I think he pulled a Dexter, this was a well planned attack. He believed he thought of everything, wouldn’t get caught and if he did he would beat the charges. Honestly, I think he really believes he will get out and committed the perfect crime. He’s one sick puppy who should never be set free…

    • @tamijoyce5086

      I agree. But, how stupid is BK to drive his car there? He may have thought of everything, but driving his car was pure stupidity. He could have parked his car in a store parking lot and walked to King road. Or for that matter, parked his car on the side of the road and walked there, it was 4:00 in the morning. Why did he think driving his car was ok? Surely he thought there would be cameras in the area.

    • @moxiedrapo2391
      @moxiedrapo2391 8 місяців тому +1

      @@tamijoyce5086 It makes perfect sense for him to drive his own car. He had no friends, no one has come forward to say so. He really had no other option. I believe he really didn’t think this through the way he thought he did. When you are driven by hate and rage, common sense goes out the window. This was a planned attack, I think he pulled a Dexter and didn’t really have a backup plan in case he got caught. Now he has to play the system, file as many nonsensical, meaningless court filings to try to find a technicality to get out of this trial. The more I think about it the more I have come to believe he wants to set a precedent in respect to this horrific case. Then he can be studied and write books, etc…

    Another badass video. I think he took snow road off of 95 and stashed his rolled up shower curtain in a culvert off the side of that road. Its pitch black out there and he xoukd have seen cars coming in either direction. Came back the next day to get it and then buried it all and the backpack he hiked it in with to Bald Butte. Hiking boots, shovel, and a reflective vest were found in his car. I think he had the vest just in case someone asked him what he was doing out there.

    Gray, if I were LE, I’d be working with the County Roads crews (and Count GIS Mapping) to get their thoughts on where BK ditched his evidence. Those guys know those roads forwards and backwards and you can bet they’ve talked about where BK might have stopped and dug a hole. They would also know which roads are poorly maintained and not good candidates for a travel route. We also know BK was no outdoorsman, so you’re on point that he likely ditched evidence close to his car. Unless he’s really unintelligent, he wouldn’t ditch evidence on cultivated (or fallow) farm land either. Farmers know their land and I’ll bet everyone in the area has examined their property if it’s adjacent to a road. So, what’s left? The elevated woodland you pointed out early in the video is a good bet. But only if the road is in good enough condition that he wouldn’t risk high centering or getting a flat tire, or as you suggested, slipping on ice.
    Keep up the good work! Your videos are a blast to watch.

    He may have used those 16 minutes burying his knife in some cemetery, tucked away in the woods. Perhaps the Lutheran Church or Genesee Valley Church. Altitudes can be huge factors with distant Towers receiving your signal when you hit the "Null Zone" for Repeaters, cell towers and all things RF. These rural areas can have Dead Zones as well but they are continually checked, mapped and logged by Service Providers, like Motorola say for its EMS PD Fire Air products.
    Fire Departments and the Volunteer Firefighters particularly need to know where their Signals may or may not work due to many reasons.

  • @KY-jb4vd
    @KY-jb4vd 8 місяців тому +4

    For me it's most likely that he dumped it in the interior of the route depicted, since the 16 mins has to include stopping time, checking of return routes, and most importantly, ensuring that the car and his person has been completely cleared of evidence. No matter how well rehearsed he was, I think it would take time to remove evidence that meticulously from his car, as well as bury it and disguise the spot. So for me the cache has to be pretty close to the driven route. In addition, I feel like there is a reason he went that far south and a reason that his phone pinged around the location of the extra 16 mins mark. He could have found a route farther north easily that would have given many remote spots to dump the stuff - yet he didn't. Perhaps it's a decoy but imo his dump spot was towards the southern end of his route near your plus-16 mark on the map. I like the jacksha road leg off the 95, down to the thorn creek road. About halfway along jacksha is a great spot, remote, no houses nearby, with a stand of trees that looks undisturbed for years. Perfect kind of spot and not too much of a detour since it loops right back to the 95.

One concern about rural roads is the possibility of being seen because it is so unusual to see cars at that time of night. Also black ice could undo him. So, I’m thinking an easy stop somewhere where he can’t be seen but if caught he could have. A prepared answer, like, I had to stop for a leak’. And they need to be easy to go back to and again not raise suspicions. I liked e spot at 11.15 in your last visit where there was a stand of tress on the left side and a road loops around. Too big an area to search. It's like looking for a needle in a haystack. You hardly need to look for things used in the murders. I think that the DNA sample obtained from the sheath of the knife is enough to prove that the perpetrator was at the scene of the murder. I feel that the perpetrator has retrieved the knife and other items from the first hiding place closer to his residence. It could be that at least the knife could be found somewhere in the cache where his parents live.

    • @avjam
      @avjam 8 місяців тому

      Have you not been watching the latest update? DNA on the knife sheath is super unreliable because it's touch DNA, which means it also picks up DNA of people who touched the person or the knife even before the incident happened. DNA is easily transferable more than we realise. A lot of innocent people were convicted before because of this. Please do your research.

    Great research you've done Gray ! Have you actually driven this route personally? I'm thinking even with the light snow or icy roads up near Johnson.. a Hyundai Elantra is front wheel drive. That car can easily drive around on slippery snowy roads- with good winter tires - no studs or chains needed. And even if he did need more traction , it only takes 2 minutes to put cable chains on front 2 tires. A good hunter who knows how to track.. native American trackers are skilled in noticing every single detail on the ground. They can identify tire tread marks , & if they are fresh , & by noticing how the leaves on the ground have been disturbed , as well as rocks , pinecones turned over.. it would not take a rocket scientist to comb that area of the Butte above Johnson... & learn exactly where the Hyundai pulled over - or turned into another gravel road - where it stopped. Where the " trail " ( made by BK ) heads to through the woods.. no matter how careful ,& light footed one is... There's no way possible to walk through the woods or fields , nor dirt or gravel..without leaving footprints, & a trail of broken twigs ..leading directly to the freshly dug dirt ,where a large black trash bag has been buried. Or to a body of water ..that items were weighted down & tossed into .. possibly even for planned retrieval at a later date. The cops / FBI must have alot of digital evidence, ( cars navigation system - imbedded inside dash behind radio) of his Hyundai... that FBI got access to. This would give them the exact travel route of that car - when it comes to a stop, when door(s) open / close , when car is idling , or turned off. No matter if his phone info can't be traced completely. The navigation system will. I can't imagine FBI not sending out a team of trackers in key areas to retrieve the weapons & bloody " Dexter" suit ... Unless they already have enough video or eyewitness evidence, & are confident in a conviction.

    ..discussions with other forensic experts said the car was definately covered inside seat /steering wheel /pedals etc. so kohberger also had to remove coverings from car seat pedals steering wheel seat belt etc. As well as cloths and gloves and anything else he used in what is a very successful plan of evidence removal. He would have been the same with where he destroyed those things the pre dug hole in the middle of nowhere is probably the best theory but he would have torched them first simply burying items preserves them
    A small amount of igniting fluid on items in the hole and most if not all evidence is torched then cover
    Its reasonable to say he has hidden the knife nearby in a seperate spot . I definitely agree he went to great lengths to avoid the transfer of evidence from the crime scene to his car. Because of his background in Criminology he would be very aware of how important that would be. I have said from the beginning that he likely wore zip up coveralls, a balaclava type head and face covering, boot covers and several pairs of gloves. These are things that can be quickly peeled off and put into a plastic bag he had staged outside the house. The knife could have been placed in the same bag which he closed up and took with him for disposal. The idea that he would also have taken the precaution of putting down plastic covers on the seat, floor, trunk, pedals, and steering wheel seems completely plausible and likely.
      Also let's not forget that he had nearly 7 weeks worth of cleaning the vehicle before his arrest and seizure of his car.

      Yes and they do. That’s how they know he drove by the girls house multiple times before the murders, for months.

    Did you deliberately choose Kevin MacLeod's "Lost Time" Gray?! Very appropriate! (16 minutes) Thank you for another great video.

      Exactly!! It's innocent until proven guilty UNTIL evidence overpowers the presumption of innocence. Many many ppl are utterly confused by this concept. They think that possibilities outweigh evidence. Its not a level of possible doubt, it's reasonable. Reason gets lost on them lol

    Is there any mountain ponds or creeks in that wooded area ? Those fields in that rural area would not be a smart place to ditch crime scene items. The lay of the land is too open. My guess is he was already very familiar with this area of farmland. ..& had already chosen a place to bury items or sink into a body of water . We used to use large rocks to hide forest service gate key under rock near base of locked gate. I'd look for a large rock , boulder on side of road , one of those gravel logging roads that wind around in that wooded area near Johnson. Like at Baid Butte .. Hasn't LE gone up there to check tire tread marks ?

    Hey Gray, a drone equipped with Lidar would show disturbances in the land. Too bad so much time has passed.

      however if it appears he went back out and moved the items it's virutally a needle in a haystack and almost impossible.
